A Return to dictatorship?

Greetings eIreland,

As we all know, we are heading to that time of year again, when zombie voters are awoken, multi's that have been slowly growing are given direction and us actual active players realise that our votes mean nothing.

The CP race started much the same as it did last year, with King Trito Fisher (I thought it was funny he kept his 'self proclaimed last king of eIreland' tag last term, but it makes sense now), announcing his policy paper early on in the race. If you havent read it before, here it is "A New Beginning", but it is basically the same as his one last term but with some slight changes to it.

Whilst it is a policy paper, the real interesting thing is some of his policies and the response he gave when asked about it. For instance we will look at his Number 1 policy of "1. Reintroduce the IRISH ARMY as the national MU of eIreland". This is something that he could of presented to our full congress at the start of last term, which he never bothered to do. When he was asked about this, his response seemed semi understandable:



Apparently he decided to hold off, since he felt the elected congress would vote 'No' to it. He also responded to a question about whether Ethel's 'temp' congress would continue to vote on any government decisions. Which he said "And yes, of course, we need a pseudo-congress when we are wiped."

Whilst some info was missing from the 'National MU' idea, as a voter and a Political Party President, I thought I would try and seek more information, in regards to supplying of such a unit and CO's. As well as why he wait until we were wiped to put his 'idea' forward.



The response was quite shocking, but it is something all readers should of expected. The CP candidate, avoided answering questions about supplying of the MU and CO's (makes you wonder if the government will be coughing up the money for that and what checks will happen), but he did reply that he would not even care if the congress voted 'No' to it (which makes you wonder why he would even say earlier that he would continue the 'Ethel' congress), and instead force it through.



So basically, we have here a CP candidate, already talking about disbanding any form of democracy remaining in eIreland and forcing his own 'vision' on our democratic nation. It has started with his desire to force a national MU on the country, with out saying how or who will be supplying it. A national MU under the control of him and a 2IC he places there.... so much for an independent MU and one who's leadership is picked by the nation it is meant to be representing.... The question is, what other forced policies will be put in place? will anything be run past the citizens or even a congress of some form? will he decide to make his own 'congress' with yes men and women?

Now for most players, just this action would make one person question the near future, but remember this self proclaimed king who left last term with a dictatorship sense of legacy leaving, who has in the past and more recent past said he wont recgonise any election unless he is the victor, makes you not actually worried about the unknown, but instead Trito makes eIreland worry about the known.

So are we headed to another forced dictatorship?



Now, to take a page out of the RTK article writing handbook, I have decided to whack in some conspiracy theory writing. I have learnt from his articles, you dont need to provide evidence or logic, you dont even need to retract articles once you have been proven wrong time and time again. So to make this slightly entertaining, put on your tin foil hats and strap in for another conspiracy theory...



As with most conspiracy theories, they are based on actions that have happened, but linked in such a way, it makes you actually wonder if it could be true.

- In the lead up to the last elections, Peru decided to AS eIreland.
- The same Peru that was swatted out of the sky just a few weeks earlier by Ireland with the help of Colin.
- The same Peru that RTK invited to invade Ireland.

Theory: RTK was the one who orchestrated the AS....

But now throw in some more points...

- During the lead up to the election, Trito said he would not accept any result bar him winning.
- Ethel wins, Trito and RTK demand they are apart of cabinet.
- RW in Cork, squashed by Peru... so much for a way the National MU could of shown their colours.
- Multi BDR still releasing pro-Trito/RTK articles
- BDR threatening to make more multi's.

Now the waters are muddy with the addition of Trito and BDR playing with RTK

- No congress, Ethel allows PP to present 5 people per party to vote on laws.
- Ethels congress shows democracy works, even when wiped.
- Trito runs again, on the same platform as before.
- Questioned about his lack of pushing his National MU, responds that congress would vote No.
- Openly says he will bypass congress to make it happen.
- Democracy in question...

Now a conspiracy theorist would look at these points and think, if RTK invited Peru, RTK supports Trito, RTK openly saying any future government should not include people he doesnt like, Trito says he will ignore congress, Ireland still wiped.... doesnt this mean Trito is wanting a dictatorship disguised as a democracy? A theorist would even go as far as thinking the large multi's who voted for both, the wipe to rule out congress, Trito's past history of pushing for direct rule and not accepting any results, would be linked to some sort of back room political play to steal power and rule with out having to be held accountable to their actions.

Whilst this is just an example of such conspiracy theories and similar articles released by some, we all know that us as intelligent eCitizens of a democratic eIreland, realise that Trito/RTK/BDR havent planned or celebrated that Ireland was invaded and kept wiped to ensure they can do as they please with the country like they did in the past. We as intelligent open minded people, realise this is all just a lot of coincidences, that only appear like it is a script of some CIA Hollywood drama.
