A Retention Revival and a new Viceroy of the Feds.

Day 3,233, 05:23 Published in USA USA by Kody5
It's been about ten days since the PP election and there's a lot of things our Federalist staff wanted to get done. One of our main focuses and one of the main focuses I believe the Federalist party was founded upon is the field of Retention.
Retention has been the backbone of the Federalist agenda, as we generally put fun and Retention together as equals and since this is a game fun tends to be an important part of erep. To stir up a little fun in the Feds I decided that is try a few new ideas with retention from today and forward.

With this article I’d like to announce a string of articles in regards to Federalist retention and the first program this article will focus on is our new Viceroy program.

The Viceroy program is a new elected position within the Feds. The focuses of the Viceroy/Vicereine position include bringing attention to Federalist programs, stirring activity in any way possible, starting their own programs with the full support of leadership, and injecting fun into the game by any means possible. As you can see this position is quite open ended and it was designed to be that way.
The Viceroy does not run a department in the Feds so there are no real goals for a Viceroy to achieve besides that they must achieve something. As Fingerguns says, this position is essentially meant to be a mascot. Someone with a creative mind that can generate excitement out of whatever they can.
In theory this should be a perfect project for anyone who is willing to put the time into it.

Though now that you know what it is, what are the rules exactly?
Well as for running for the position, the elections will be held on our forums. The only requirement to run is that you must write at least one article announcing your candidacy. It does not matter how long the article is, all it must say is that you wish to run for the position.
The vote will be held between Congressional and Party Presidential elections on the 20th of each month. A thread will go up where you can announce your candidacy on the 17th. On the 20th a vote will be held that will last 24 hours and the one with the most votes wins.

However, as you can see in the title I already said there was a new viceroy of the Feds. So why did I mean when I said that?
Well what I meant, is that since there is so much time until the next election we have decided to appoint somebody as the first viceroy already.

And that somebody's Tenshibo

I believe ten would be the perfect person to kick off a program like this and with a little time I think he can make this a position worth campaigning for.
