Clearly I'm a bit behind the times here. I know we had a referendum to leave GEA and become neutral. I know that Indonesia declared war on us, so we declared on them.

Now, 2 weeks later and I see this:

Anyone care to explain why we're signing an MPP with a country that declared war on us 2 weeks ago? What happened to the eIndian honour I've heard so much about?

See the thing here is that there are some in eIndia's government that want to be in the CoT and they are actually naive enough to think that if they burn their alliances with EDEN, CoT will welcome them in. So while 2 weeks ago indonesia was willing to trash eIndia, people think that they want to be our friends now....

so yeah, thats the country you live in.

Roger would you rather ally with an enemy which has never commited threason...or with an "ally" that desecrates your beliefs by inviting you to hold a conversation in a room called "fuckcows" (keep in mind cows are holy animals in India) and there you get threatened by your "allies" that you will be either whipped off the face of the earth or you will be left with only one region so you can hold congress. (also a sidenote keep in mind eIndia welcomed Croats to their land for 9 months in order to save them from eSerbia)

Think about that for a while and then give me an answer.

eCroatia actually accepted those terms as beneficial for both sides... If you look like that why eChina didn't rent eCroatia their resources for free?

If a country rents a resource that they do not have as a duplicate, they would be doing their citizens a bit of a disservice, since they'd literally be taking food and guns out of the hands of its people in order to collect cash from another country. Of course, if the payment was big enough to cover part of the losses, then it would be a reasonable exchange.

Not sure that people are so selfless in this game that they would give up their own development potential for free to help out somebody else on a stronger team, unless it was for protection from a threat, but that would still be part of a mutual exchange.
