A message of peace?

Hello eTurkey,

My name is smee again and I am what most would describe as the most "racist" and "ultra-nationalist" eGreek there is.

Six months ago the whole eWorld would have been set on fire if I had Turkish citizenship but now I have had eTurkish citizenship for the past three days and I have yet to recieve a single vulgar message or have yet to see a single article published about me. This shows to me that the relationship between eGreece and eTurkey has changed.

You may ask "why has smee come to Turkey and how long will he stay?" Well, I've already moved back to Greece and I've come to deliver you a personal message from me to all of you... a message of peace.

Several months ago our countries, Greece and Turkey, signed a peace treaty. This peace allowed both eGreeks and eTurks to enjoy a new game, a game that didn't include continuous war between us. Nowadays, it seems to me that the vast majority of Greeks and Turks want the same thing, continued peace between our countries.

In the past few months we have shown interest and followed your external politics, we know you are a "Pro-ONE" country and know that you hope to one day officially join ONE. We have seen how disrespectful Spain is and how ONE will never let you join. We have seen how disloyal certain "brothers" were when they refused to stand up for you. We have seen how dishonest they are when they tell you "on paper alliances don't matter", well if they didn't matter they would let you and all the other "pro" countries join.

Since the peace treaty, tempers have cooled down on boths sides of the Aegean and I think it's time we can start talking about a more then lasting peace.

Turkey was once part of Terra, and if Turkey was to rejoin this alliance or EDEN I think not only can our two countries co-exist together peacefully, but I think we are at the point were we can talk about co-operation and consider MPP's. And if Turkey were to rejoin a "friendly" alliance and we were to sign an MPP, i tell you right now, I would honor my countries agreement and the alliance, and I would even fight for eTurkey.

Greece wants a strong neighbour..

We can have a temporary peace and a Turkey that stands alone, or we can have permanent peace, co-operation between Greece and Turkey, a strong Turkey backed by a common alliance.

The first few years of eRepublik were marked by continous war between Greece and Turkey, let the next few years be marked by co-operation. Turkey, I'd like you to consider this carefully, and remember, this is not just any eGreek saying this, this is that racist ultra-nationalist monster.
