A Formal Apology

An Apology to the eUS government and to the citizens of the eUS

Before I begin this article, I hope to make two things clear about the intention and the influence this letter will have on the future.

1. This letter should not influence the unblacklisting of any other citizen that is currently blacklisted. As we were blacklisted on an individual basis, the unblacklisting should follow suit. This apology should not set a precedent for any other blacklisted player to follow.
2. This apology does not extend to any other player that is currently blacklisted, nor does it claim that any other player wishes/desires to be unblacklisted.

And thus, we begin:

To the eUS government, of which I was a part of at the time of my blacklisting and am no longer such a member of:

This is not a letter in which I explain my actions or why I did what I did. This is, however, a letter of apology.

I formally apologize for my actions in the Civil War, I apologize for fighting against the eUS Constitution and our Dictatorship laws. While I continue to strongly oppose the dictatorship law, I realize now that the way to handle such opposition is through democracy rather than civil war. Furthermore, as your Chief of Staff at the time, I apologize for going against the honor of the executive branch and opposing the very position to which I was appointed.

To the people of the eUS, of which I have and will always remain a part of:

I am sorry for causing a month of argument and distrust among our people. I am sorry for helping to create a partisan split in our government, which has been reflected in our people. As the Chief of Staff in the Gnilraps administration, you elected me to uphold the eUS Constitution and the laws of our land. Whether or not you wanted to see the dictatorship crumble, you firstly elected me to uphold the law as Chief of Staff of the eUS government.

Thank you for reading. I now ask the eUS Congress, to consider me for unblacklisting, so I can rejoin the community as a full member of the eUS.

Sincerely,
Tom Cauchon
