1. So Edana you have been a big player in politics , how does it feel

Surprising, I suppose. I consider myself an active hard working player that has varied interests, an insatiable curiosity and does not taking herself too seriously. If that is being a big player, then everyone has that capacity.


2. Why do you think you were picked to be MoNC

My charm and good looks. 😉 No, I think Patton recognized that I was a hard worker and dedicated. I'll let him tell you why specifically.

3. Do you think you will be elected and do you have any opponents that you believe stand a chance

I love the way you ask questions. lol I honestly don't know if I will be elected or not. If I am, I will do as I have always done, worked hard and represent Cork and Kerry to the best of my abilities. There are a lot of great players running for Congress. As long as we have someone in the TD who is active and dedicated Ireland will be well served.

4. Do you want to be MoNC again

I really do enjoy being MoNC. There is something satisfying about seeing new players succeed. Sometimes they need a good smack on the bottom when they are being idiots, but for the most part I try to be as helpful and encouraging as possible.

5. So Edana how did you find erepublik

I was looking for an online sim game and this popped up. I did a wee bit of research and decided to give it a try.

6. What was you first thought about the game

Honestly? I thought “Geez, what am I supposed to be doing? Two clicks and I’m done for the day? WTH?” But then I decided to keep coming back each day and just started clicking on everything to see what it did.

7. What was the first party you joined and did it help you

I joined the Independent Voices Party and I have been there from the beginning. I hate being put in a box. I like to destroy boxes. Can’t stand them. Independent Voices does not put me in a box. They allow me to be exactly as I am and they don’t try to make me conform to a specific party manifesto.

8. Who were your first friends

Octavius Dryst and Donovan Thomas.  These two are the reason I not only survived, but thrived. So you can thank them.

9. How did they help and influence you

Octavius is just a wonderful and helpful guy. He isn’t much older than me, which makes him even more amazing. He was barely out of short pants and helping a wee noob like me. Donovan. What can I say about Donovan? He is the best. We connected immediately. His intelligence, drive, and determination make him an attractive mentor for me. I needed someone who was just as strong willed as I was. 😃

10. What got you involved in politics

I’ve always been interested in the political aspects of this game. That was a goal for me early on. I never thought I would be given an opportunity so soon, by being asked to serve as MoNC. I was surprised and humbled. Then I quickly got past that and dove right into the work, and I have been doing it faithfully ever since.

11. Why did you join IV ( Independent Voices )

12. What is IV like

IV is awesome! There are so many great players. Digits is the founder and Binksy is our fearless leader. Most of them are younger compared to some of the other parties. I have nothing to compare it too, so I can’t do a proper analysis. But I will say that we have a great group of people associated with the party.

13. Do you like your IV colleges

Yes. Yes, I do. 😉

14. What is it like being MoNC is it hard or is it just mailing every NC

Just emailing? LOL!!!!!! It’s a LOT of work. I don’t demand more than I’m willing to do myself. Unfortunately, I demand a lot of myself. But for those who can take it, you know that they are good. Buddysilver is a damn hard worker and kianoush.f has been holding his own. We monitor over 250 noobs at any given time. It’s more than sending them a message. We check to see if their health is low, if they are struggling. We answer questions they may have. I write articles on topics that new citizens would find useful and link articles that other journalists have published that young citizens would find interesting. I update the tracking almost nightly. It takes a lot of coordination between the ministries to make it work. The main three are MoE, MoH, and DoD. The Ministers in each respective area have been doing a bang up job and have made my work much easier as a result.

15. Do you want to go further in politics

Yes, I do. There are some aspects of this game that I need to learn more about such as Foreign Affairs. I would like to own my own business to see what that is like. I think the mark of great leadership is knowing enough about how things work to recognize greatness in others and to create an environment that allows them to excel. Patton has been a great example of this and I am honored to have been apart of his administration.

16. Who is your best efriend

You are. 😉 C’mon. What kind of question is that? Lol Are you trying to get me in trouble? They know who they are.

17. Lastly , Do you want to become President


Yes. I would like to be the first female CP of Ireland unless one of the other ladies beat me to it.  It’s a good goal to have. I have a lot to learn before that happens. I am definitely not ready. You have to “Dare Greatly” in order to accomplish the things you want out of eLife or RL, for that matter. Others have become CP, so why not me?
