Re-elect Senator H.Nelson for Queensland!

Day 698, 23:18 Published in Australia Australia by H.Nelson

Dear citizens of Queensland,

This time of the month eAustralian media is full of articles written by Senate candidates outlining their personal qualities or simply delivering a message hardly different from “Vote for me ‘cause I’m awesome!”

Instead of doing so I’m listing here some of the most important proposals I have voted on during my last term as a Senator for Queensland and let you decide if you agree with me or not.

Voted YES on:

* Amendment of Military Structure & Logistics Act
This amendment aimed to expand the elite unit of Dropbears and Koalas by setting up a strength limit of 10 and 6 respectively (instead of the current 40-person limit).

* Government Tender Process Act
This act outlines the process of government tenders to ensure that all eAustralian companies are offered a reasonable opportunity to gain government contracts on offer.

* National Healthcare Act Amendment
The amendment states that upon completion of a Q5 Hospital, a discussion will be started to decide where to deploy the new hospital.

* New Players Society
This proposal will try to increase the number of eAustralians actively involved in eRepublik as well as providing them with some leadership opportunities.

Voted NO on:

* Increasing income taxes from 10% to 15%
In my opinion increasing income taxes and putting much more weight on the shoulders of eAustralians is unacceptable.

* Revoke eAustralian RM Export License Loans Act
The purpose of this act was to provide loans to suitable companies so as they can buy export licenses. In order to boost the competitiveness of eAustralian companies this act should have stayed in effect.

As for the future goals of mine; I intend to keep on representing the average citizens by supporting proposals aimed to benefit eAustralians and voting ‘no’ on the ones which are against the interest of the broader public. Being an Independent not bound by any pre-defined party line I have every right and opportunity to do so. I have no obligation to report to any party presidents or prominent personalities from a classical political party either, only to you, eAustralian citizen.

Although Queensland already possesses one, I will also keep on campaigning for the deployment of Q5 hospitals in every eAustralian state like I did during my previous two Senate terms and in my Prime Minister manifesto too. Despite encountering a vast amount of personal attacks on this topic I have not given up supporting this long-term goal and will never intend to do so.

So when it’s time to decide on who you would like to see as a representative of Queensland remember to vote for H.Nelson, an Independent who has already proven twice that he is able to represent the citizens’ will!

Best regards,
H.Nelson
Senator for Queensland
ACU Koalas member
Member of the Australian Independents
