Hey all,

With Party President elections looming its about time that someone from the True Blue Party made an appearance.

I am here to announce that I will be running for PP of TBP this month.
For the first time the True Blue Party will have a corn and rat free PP 😛
With Corny Ratbag heading overseas this term I am stepping up to leadership of the party.

If elected PP I wont go about any dramatic changes - we are the same party after all and Corny and myself have similar views, as the majority of the party does (that is why you joined 😛)

My credentials include a massive 7 terms as a senator, as well as serving as deputy treasurer and Australia's first Inspector General.

As for me being suitable to lead TB here is a quick rundown of my views:
ecconomy - stop isolating it - work to eliminate medium productivity business (but reimburse Aus company owners and do so in a way that we are not short on products) and increase exports
exchange rate - ideally slightly higher since it allows for better exports and makes it harder for importers to undercut Aus businesses (i think 45-50 would be good)
GFCs - are a no, keep them to a mimimum, Skill 0 training and some military stockpiling ONLY
alliances - stay small and independant! Big global alliances will be bad for Australia because as a small nation we will lose our voice and independance
WA - keep pushing negotiations with indo and get a definite company list ASAP

As for what I will do for the party,
Most importantly we need to become unique again, at the moment we seem like a blur sitting somewhere in the middle of everyone, but true blue is unique and we need to get our unique voice back. A stronger presence in policy making and discussion is essential to becoming a strong party again.

We need to start voicing our opinions more loudly and discussing laws and policies and ideas more openly in the TBP section. I will work to encourage this and get as many party members as possible throwing around ideas in our forums.

After all it is about politics and not inter party competitions (although not to say theyre not fun)
True Blue isnt a gimick, its a party, and we need to bring back the politics.
The TBP was founded by Corny Ratbag and the true blue corperation as an alternative to the ANP and ADSP. We believe in having the strongest, free, ecconomy possible while providing services where needed. Australia is all about helping those in need out and giving everyone a fair go and thats what True Blue is about. We will provide the services needed, except were not going to spend so much doing so that it hinders everyone elses chance at a fair go.

The few simple things I promise you if elected PP are:
A few ads and articles promoting TBP for its views/policies
An attempt to increase inter party policy discussion
A pm candidate in december 😛
and an oportunity to give corny a break 😃
