Phase One
Greetings to President Patton, Field Marshals, Generals and fellow Brutes, Brutettes and Baby Brutes. Phase one of the IDF reformations is complete. Our newly minted (and some slightly tarnished) Brutes are moving into the newly constructed O'Malley Hall and nearly all soldiers have been contacted by their CO's.
If you have not been contacted by 1200 eRep time on Monday October 12th, PM the DoD org.
For those few citizens with periods or other characters in their name who were unable to enlist, please use the following address to enter your eRepublik citizen number located at the end of your profile URL.

Bugs
Many citizens reported being told that their "citizen name" was invalid. This is due to the eRepulik API and we have no control over it. If you receive this error, continue trying. You can check the status of the eRepublik API at the following address (if the page will not load, the API is down).

CO/XO Billets
It has been brought to my attention by CoS Larkin that there were numerous applications for CO/XO after he had shouted that he would be away and to contact the DoD and after it was stated in previous releases to watch the shouts of the CoS. Many of these applicants were highly qualified and would have been seriously considered for Command. I cannot stress the importance of all military personnel voting, subscribing and reading all DoD releases in their entirety. Simple attention to detail is the cornerstone of Military Service.
The coming week will bring information on strategy, game mechanics and tactics. These items will be placed in the forum in the Bootcamp Section and focus mainly on our Baby Brutes in the reserves. Veterans should feel free to stop by and contribute.
