No. 11 - eVenezuelan congress
III Pocetnik Krivobarac III
Hello citizens of eVenezuela.
First I would like to take this opportunity and thanks to all my subscribers for giving me Media mogul medal.
This is my 11th article in eRepublik, second in eVenezuela.
I am sorry I do not speak Spanish, maybe I'll learn it someday.
I am writing this article to criticise work of our government, because I think they didn't do they job as citizens of eVenezuela expected.
1. Congress members
Election results, 25.08.2009.
La libertad de Venezuela - 15

Every party have lost one congressman, and roberick has left his party. That means there is 36 congress members two days before next elections.

Last month there was 29 law proposals. 17 of them was rejected, and only 12 aproved! That is only 41% of accepted laws!
3 President impeachment laws:

3. Summary
The best move of this government was buying Q5 hospital in NE Venezuela. Now we can finally fight from eVenezuela 5 times every day.
That is only good move if you ask me!
Bad moves:
- NOT signed any alliances
- Bad economy laws, very high import taxes! No one wants to export anything to Venezuela because we have unrealistic import taxes.
- NOT accepted trading embargo to Colombia, an agressor in Colombia - USA war.
I hope that next government will do their job better.
Thanks for reading.

Nice but i have a question.
What do u win doing this?
Good Article, you're only wrogn about the trading embargo to Colombia, we have a neutral position about that war...

I like how you think ANYONE will listen to you after you Croatians tried taking over Venezuela.
Trading embargo was refused by opposition.
OK, as I said, I don't speak Spanish, so if you don't mind please write comments in English 😃
@ Jamie Estefan
Did you heard what happened in Serbia or Italy... If Croatians wanted to takeover Venezuela, they would do it...
@yartrebo
"Tambien, yo deseo la paz con el mundo y los embargos estan en la direccion de la guerra."
Only goal in this game is war!
@Gustavo Hernandez
Sorry, but Google Translate is not really acurate in translating 😃
@Jesus Rafael Rosas Olavide
Colombia is PEACE puppet!
Crobat.
Go away.

Sancho Sete... You made a new account after they banned you for cheating... Good for you 😃

Signed! Down with congress!
And here you can quite clearly see Croatians braying for their leader and calling for the disintegration of a government that foiled their plans.
Bar them from any position of power or influence.
Not to mention-
Entering an alliance will drag us into a war that we do not need. It is not our war. Tell your EDEN owners that you being a mouthpiece only works so far when their hands are so intimately cemented inside you.
Our economy is doing very well. Inflation is under control. Food is cheaper. We are growing closer to a manufacturing economy and self-sufficiency.
Columbia is a pawn of PEACE. We are not a pawn of EDEN. We can do what we wish.
Of those rejected laws, how many were proposed by Lucios Nava without the 24 hour discussion period beforehand? The first impeachment proposal may have been thrown up by a rogue congressman, perhaps under the belief that Lucios won by unfair means. The second impeachment proposal was a bit premature, but looking at it now I don't really find any fault with it.
Buying the Q5 hospital wasn't really a decision made by the current government. At least, it isn't something a different government would have opposed. It's construction was funded by the government for the sole purpose of having it put up in one of our regions.
As for the alliances and embargo, we aren't expansionist. The immediate goal of Venezuela is not to take other countries, or tell other countries what to do. It is really none of our business. If we make one ally, we also make one enemy. By remaining neutral, we can focus on domestic issues, strengthening and enriching our own country. It also allows any citizen who cares to get involved to pick their own side, rather than be obligated to fight for who we tell them to fight.

"Entering an alliance will drag us into a war that we do not need."
You are still unexperienced player, this statement doesn't make sense! Read eRepublik rules!
Signing an alliance with other country cannot drag you into the war, except your country have a border with your ally's enemy!
Signing an alliance with ANY country, no matter from EDEN or from PEACE, could only benefit us! Colombia show that they are aggressive nation, don't be surprised if they attack us!
You should listen and learn from experienced players, don't be so arrogant.
@Whest Easton
I agree with you that we shouldn't be expansionist, but we must have allies in case someone attack us! MPP's are not for expansioning our country, it is for defensive purposes!
Dubrovnik, it is clear that you have NO idea what you are talking about. You have NO idea with regards to the current situation in Latin America. You are just a Gold Hunter.
LEAVE NOW!
No. It doesn't.
An alliance equals an MPP. Being n an MPP means that you can fight in your allies' war.
There might night be any official status of war, the the unofficial message is there- that we sided with EDEN.
And I would be surprised, considering our long-standing history. If they do attack, they will fail, considering that they have their own problems to deal with.
Like the US.
We DO have allies. We're part of PEACE and AHA. Your comments show you know absolutely nothing about Venezuela nor want what's best for her future. Go home to Croatia.
Tenemos aliados Dubrovnik. Vete a casa a Croacia.
Greetings, rat. So your first plan failed and now you're trying another approach.
The fact that the majority of proposed legislation has not passed is NOT negative. When many people are open to make proposals, only those that have a large amount of support will pass. This is the way of all democracy.
Yes, buying the Q5 hospital was a good idea, you're right.
Our import taxes are necessarily high, but as we move toward a manufacturing and industrial economy, those will likely be decreased. Inflation is down, wages are up, food is more abundant. These are signs of effective economic policy.
Venezuela's primary allegiance is, and should always be, first to ourselves, and second to the AHA. What reason have we to sign more alliances? And an alliance with EDEN is simply foolish.
The potential advantages of allying with EDEN (which I have yet to see) do not outweigh the disadvantages. You say that Colombia is going to attack us. That's not true, but even if it were, joining EDEN would only exacerbate the situation. In your own words, "Signing an alliance with [an]other country cannot drag you into war, [unless] your country [has] a border with your ally's enemy."
If we joined EDEN, we would be doing exactly that.
The only goal is war? If Croatia wanted to take over, they would have? Your worldview is quite an imaginative one. Would that we all lived in such a giddy world of fantasy.
Your words don't add up, and if no one else does, I at least know what you are. You're a Croatian, a gold farmer, and a rat. "Us"? "We"? Bold words for a snake, and no less one that tried to take over this nation once before. But the people of this great country know better. They recognize foolish words from a forked tongue.
Libertad. Igualdad. Seguridad.
Viva Venezuela.
@Jose Huertes
Bla, bla, bla... bullshit 😃
Yes, it's easy to simply ignore arguments you can't defend, isn't it? But even your passive-aggressive use of text-based body language can't hide the fact that you'll cop out as soon as someone calls your bluff. Thank you for proving my point.
