Devaluing the ATS?
Nykoal
Recently Olorum has proposed we issue more ATS, doing so would devalue the ATS, this is something he seems to do when the currency seems to be gaining strength. He proposed the law without any debate, and then left the congress and the country, I asked him why he would do this, and seemingly he thinks he is over answering to anyone. I urge the remaining congress to vote against his proposal. I believe we need a strong ATS to compete with larger countries, and Olorum does same thing every time the currency gets to a good point.
We can't support his ego, and we have to fight him. I'd consider voting for his proposal IF he left debate and gave reason, but I guess he doesn't have to explain himself, and we're to blindly follow him as he ruins our currency. Lets end his economical tyranny, vote down his proposition, and defeat his selfishness. Support a strong ATS.

I agree that a debate area is needed so that Olorum an explain why this proposal is in the best interest of Austria. On a side note, I noticed that Olorum is now living in Brazil again, what's the story on that? Shouldn't our government officials reside in Austria during their mandate (unless they are serving as ambassadors or in some other capacity which requires them to be abroad)?
I added him to my "No Longer Wish To Be In Congress" list. Personally I think if he is going to behave this I hope he stays there.
I bet he will be back on the 25th.
Poor small country like Austria is being used for a measly 5G.
p.s. I read from somewhere that Congressmen donate 3G out of the 5G but I'm not sure.
Government officials need to be accountable for their actions, congressmen merely using the Austrian political system as a means to their own ends need to be turfed out. They are a drain and a weakness on our small nation.
We just need to steer people away from voting for him next month.
@Nykoal: Good, I agree that these people need to be held accountable for their actions. It is simply irresponsible for them to continue leaving congress to go and do whatever they please. We really need to come up with some system for making sure these people aren't re-elected. However, I think the best way is for you to keep bringing in those immigrants so that getting elected is not so easy.
@James Kim: While there is technically a suggestion that all congressmen donate 3G when they are elected, it is not universally practiced. If I had to bet, Olorum probably did donate his 3G, members of Illuminus Austria Party usually aren't short of money.
@Aus Askar: I totally agree, members of our government need to realize that things like running for congress are COMMITMENTS. If you run for congress, it is a 30 Day mandate, not an easy way to pick up another medal and a little gold.
Actually, I can't say for sure that Olorum was IA, so I apologize to IA if he wasn't.
I'm pretty sure he was IA.
I'm just angry because we'll never know why he is doing this becuase he doesn't have to explain anything.
Did you ask him why? Talked to him?
I asked him, and he will be back by tomorrow and has just set up a halfway reasonable proposal for our country before he left for a trip. In fact, he is the Austrian Minister of Finance and so he will probably knowing what he is doing.
Yes, he has forgot the debate area, but maybe he will talk here about that.
Well I PMed him a a while before he logged off (he had an hour to respond) he could have avoided this storm if he just answered one PM.
You're right, just another unaccountable typical politician. It's a shame there's so many. Go get em.
Oki he had an hour... omg you making this mess coz he did not responded you in an hour? I am sometimes afk for 4 hours and then i just log off.(Close the lid)
Its absolutely disgraceful that people continue to suggest laws without discussion. If he followed the procedure everyone supposedly agreed to, Nykoal wouldn't need to wait an hour, two hours, or a day for a response. He should have left a link to discussion explaining why he proposed the law.
And if other people followed the procedure, the law would get voted down due to the lack of discussion. Yet its going to pass.
I think the bigger issue (scaryier issue), it that our entire country is controled by a group of 20 players that immigrated from brazil just a couple of months ago. Although Metallon is not one of the ones that just arrived, he has become very involved with them and even joined their party and ran for president under their banner. I am trying to avoid conspiricy theories, but I have seen almost nothing from the IA that suggest their political philosiphy. More important than "who are these people?" is "What do they believe?" Hopefully, Olorum will apply for citizenship while he is in Brazil.
@rjeddings: that's just not right. I am now Minister of Communication and playing this game for two months now and I'm having a lot of fun here. I'm a real Austrian and also in the IA - and I can assure you - you really don't have to think about conspiricy theories.. As far as i can say now, we are just a happy family 😃
