A President's Farewell and Burgenland

Let me first say that I am so proud that Burgenland returned while I was still President. For another grand twenty minutes, I will be President of Austria in its entirety. I would have been very disappointed if Burgenland was the only region that did not return while I was President.
But how close this race was! If the votes stay as they are for the next couple minutes, I will have lost by two votes. I would often wonder who it would be that succeeds me - who could have foreseen that it would be the man who gave me my first nomination who would surpass me too!
Thank you for letting me be your President for all these months. I enjoyed myself so much. I will remain in Austria; whether I'll ever run again, though, I cannot say. Whether I'll run for Party President or Congress this month I cannot say either. What is most important to me is that Austria remembers my time as President fondly.

Austria don't respects the decision of Hungarian Congress about Burgenland, and sends troops to fight on the red side. I think this is a casus belli. Prepare for war.

Lynari... You were president when I was born in Austria and I will always remember your term fondly. I did everything that I could to support you in you bid for re-election, but... I hope you enjoy your ability to leave the country for a bit. Thank you for all the hard work you have done for our country, you will not be forgotten.

G Teskayev: If even the hungarian people disagrees with the hungarian Congress - that was elected to supposedly represent the people's will - by fighting red in Burgenland so the problem might be with your Congress, not with Austria. Also, Burgenland is Austrian, get over it. 🙂

Cavalcanti actually people tanked using country's funds on red side so it was not like "people's decision". As far as half the country knows we just gave a region to americans or whatever, people that are not even austrians just a random group like the TOing teocrats, or goons.
We will get our region, Burgenland back soon.

Before the first WW there was a county the ÖSTERREICHISCH-Ungarische Monarchie. Hungary belonged to Austria an some other countries. Afterthe first WW Hungary got a big part of Burgenland. The rest belonged to Austria and never to Hungary.
