[DND] Reform, South Korea & More

Day 645, 20:40 Published in Philippines Philippines by Philippine Defense Department

The reform that was announced several days ago began with the increase in damage requirements for our elite military branches. Today is the announcement of several more changes, including an official order.

AFP Command Structure
The title of Commanding Officer is a well known one and military commanders have been known as such since the inception of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Today that changes, as Commanding Officers now have titles unique to the branch they lead. This was done mainly to give officers a bit of creative authority instead of the general CO.

Commandant Keitarour of the Philippine Marine Corps
Commander Ryo E of the Special Operations Command
Admiral Hekter of the Philippine Navy
General EZEX Lacroa of the Philippine Army

Mainly for the purposes of role play, wiki articles, etc., this change is still very much official. All CO's present and future should always be addressed in the manner described above while spoken of or to in any official capacity.

AFP Supply Line
When I was selected as Director of National Defense we had only two supply orgs. This made it difficult to keep a free flowing supply and with the troubles Home Affairs faced at first it simply was not working. Funded privately so that the national treasury was not touched, the AFP now has seven supply orgs at its disposal. A new Philippine Defense Department was made to replace the one used currently as soon as the newspaper transfer is completed. Also created was a Central Command org for military leaders and orgs dedicated specifically to each military branch. Those who are members of AFP Command should be expecting messages soon detailing the new access information.

AFP Work 4 Weapons
This program, designed for AFP personnel to literally work daily for weapons, will be implemented very soon. All AFP personnel, both home based and overseas troops, should contact the Philippines Defense Dept if they wish to take part in this program.

Operation Kimchi
Operation Kimchi was ultimately a failure, as the legitimate candidates in South Korea were unable to gain the majority of Congress. I would like to personally thank all personnel who deployed to South Korea to aid in the anti-PTO of that nation. We stand together with our Sol allies and our regional neighbors South Korea, as we in the Philippines are quite familiar with the horrors of takeover. A list has been sent to Congress of those who particpated and should be granted citizenship without having to complete the application process.

Total Recall
Although I liked the movie, I'm not much of a fan of this order. It is unfortunately the best thing to do. When the invasion of North America began, we were quite a new face in PEACE GC. We deployed our soldiers to aid in the invasion, to show that we could pull our own weight. It was a matter of national interest. Now that the USA is all but destroyed, our allies in PEACE GC no longer need our assistance. Therefor, all AFP personnel should return home immediately. Moving tickets will be available upon request. Overseas troops are welcomed to stay abroad, however, no weapons will be supplied with the exception of Sol war games.

Thank you for suffering through this wall of text. 🙂
