Elphaba Thropp for Congress

Day 641, 14:10 Published in Australia Australia by Elphaba Thropp

Ok so as the title reads, I’m Elphaba Thropp, and I am running for Congress as a Member of the LPA, New South Wales division. I am running under the AIP flag, but I am a member of the LPA.

I’d be a good candidate as I have been in this game for a while now. I’ve been watching how the political scene works. I even got into congress once, but I was so new to the game, I didn’t know what I was doing. I now think that I do.

In real life I study politics. Mainly international politics, but I have also done a bit of national politics too. I log on daily and read all the new articles as to keep up to date with the eAustralia’s politics and going-ons.

I have a few visions for eAustralia, for a distant future that I believe we must start creating today. I see a strong country with a strong army. I see us taking a bigger role in international affairs, I see us being a super power in the Asia Pacific. But to do this we need to elect the right leaders now.

So you are probably wondering what my views some political topics are. Firstly, I believe in Capitalism, but not out of control capitalism that has no restrictions, as that was what caused the Global Economic Crisis in RL. We’ve all seen the effects of extreme, over regulated, Socialism (see the Soviet Union and the problems they had), we’ve seen the effects of corrupt closed markets (just look at Burma). What we need is a Capitalist market with a few government regulations and a market watchdog, just to keep things in-check and to pre-empt and prevent any possible financial crisis.

eAustralia must also make alliances as to participate in War Games. We need war games to build eAustralia’s military and strength. Another benefit alliances will bring us is protection. In the event of us getting attacked (a very very very very very slim chance as we are surrounded by Indonesia and they don’t look like they are going to attack us), then we will have a strong enough military, and enough international support to defend ourselves.

Ok, so that’s my little manifesto. Please vote for me for congress!

Future Congresswoman for eAustralia
