Just like real life, eRepublik also operates under the Golden Rule: whoever has the GOLD makes the rules.

And, right now, we have no GOLD. We have tons of PHP but no GOLD.

I know. It sucks. Without GOLD, we won't be able to pay for training wars and MPPs, and stabilize the monetary markets, and other important stuff. Several parts of the government will simply seize to function.
