After losing regions after regions in favor of PEACE, a question built in my min😛
PEACE THINKS ABOUT ITSELF THAT IS GOOD, OR BAD?!
So I put this specific question to some famous names from PEACE. Let’s see what their answers were:
GLaDOS - Former SG of PEACE, Former Spokesman of PEACE, Former President of Russia, Former MoFA of Japan, Former VP of Japan, 6 times congressmen, media mogul:

* this is for fun
* and we are playing bad guy’
Cavalcanti – ex-President of Brazil, 4 times congressman, media mogul:
*well, PEACE is the good boy when it comes to small countries
* I don't see anything evil
* like USA or Canada never did anything bad
* USA specially
* after all this, there are no good guys in the new world
*only small and neutral nations
* in 12/10 months ago there were bad and good countries
* but after all this time, most of them participated in takeovers, attacks on original regions, etc
…about Canada:
* in brazil we call them as "dead dog" 😛
* it's never doing anything
* just stuck in there

* usa only expected to keep attacking smaller countries with no reply
* because PEACE is peacefull
It`s also true that Canada supports USA’s actions, so that’s why they are under siege. It is in fact a good way for PEACE to keep busy "the friend of the enemy". Also, Canada used to attack France, so it’s a payback now. PEACE looks stronger and stronger every day. Alliance’s forces more overwhelmed by the magnitude of the latest PEACE attacks. It`s a good moment for Canada to wake up and be more active.
I don`t know if the problem is the funds, or just the lack of strategy. PEACE attacked Quebec at 3 AM in Canada (Canada has 3 time zones). Canadian people were sleeping at that hour. DOES ROMANIA REALLY HAVE A STRATEGY, OR IT`S JUST A PAWN ON A TABLE?!
Twice a year alliances rise and fall. IS OUR ALLIANCE WAITING FOR THE WINTER TO RULE THE WORLD AGAIN?!
Russia just lives her baby boom now. Spain as well enjoys her baby boom. These wars give birth to new babies. The New World announces to be pretty interesting.
ALL ALLIANCES PROMOTE THEMSLVES AS ‘DEFENSIVE ALLIANCES’!!!
But how can PEACE be defensive if attacks original regions of other countries?! Yes! No alliance wants be the ‘bad boy’. But its actions talks by themselves.

There are no good or bad guys. For their side they are all good and the others all all bad.
It is a game. There are no good and bad guys here.
If anything could be considered "bad", it messing around with countries because of RL hate (as an exemple, the egonicide the croatians did in Serbia) or because you are the bigger one, without any strategic or econimical win behind you're actions (for instance the RW in the Netherlands).

As long as people realize this is a game, everything is ok. Just that many don't, some people actually do think their actions here are important.

BAD = nation that takes the liberty of another nation by conquering it.
GOOD = nation that helps another nation to keep its original regions.

Every alliance has done agressive actions, because this is a strategic game. Calling one or the other good or bad guys are just childish. When you play chess or Risk, do you think that the others are bad?
To PeaceGC countries, obviously Peace is the good, to Romania, PeaceGC is the bad, but that's subjective. If you're objective, there's no good or bad.
Can FORTIS be defensive alliance? USA has 3 MPP's activated against herself right now!
Can EDEN be a defensive alliance with the past of Romania, and the recent past of Finland?
Point of view depends on viewing point.
Everyone's good and everyone's bad, depending on who'd you ask.

@Warfare, that's what I'm pointing out. There's not good or bad in war, there's only countries that sometimes defend oppressed nations, and sometimes oppress. For the moment PEACE looks to be the 'bad boy' as ATLANTIS was back in winter 🙂

If to judge from this position than certenly bad. Peace would not want to bring total peace in eRepublik, because that would be too boring. There is no fun without enemys.

Actually Canada has 5 time zones. France attacked at approx 7am EST (which is 4am PST). That gave them a huge advantage over us here, being that most of Europe was between the hours of noon and 3pm. Since the server is set to restart at 3am EST, that gave them almost 4 hours to log on a second time and attack, while as you said most Canadians were asleep.
As for wether they are good or bad? That is rather irrelevant, since both of those connotations are too strict. I would rather opt for the monicker of "Agents of Chaos" for them. ((See Babylon 5 Shadow War for further information))

PEACE actions sounds like revenge to me. How can a revenging alliance be peaceful?
The words Good and Bad (I mean bed, hehe) have no meaning in a game. Am I evil if I take your queen in a chess match?
There is no accurate parameter to judge what's good and bad here. Good for us prolly bad for some others...

The past ..atlantis was the bad guy, the imperialist one..now it's time for PEACE to be bad, to be imperialist..🙂No one is really bad..just countries that have the power to dominate other countries.If you can do that why not to do it.. If we( romanians)will be in their place will do the same..🙂

there are no good and no bad boys in this game. there's only those who got better strategy and those who have less good strategy.
about the defensive thing, sometimes offense is the best defense. if PEACE are not the one start attacking, their enemy are the one attacking. its just a matter who start the offensive faster. so, if PEACE never be on the offensive side despite of being under constant threat of getting attacked by their enemies, then they cant say they're defensive at all.
its simply to defend your region from being attacked, you got to attack first.

Someone has to play the role of the bad guy, to keep the game alive.
Now PEACE is the bad guy. It's not the question of to be bad or good. It's the question of fun. 🙂
As I said, there are no more good or bad guys, except when it comes to small nations, where PEACE always protect them, while other alliances uses them (see North Korea, they're doomed now for attacking Russia, just like South Africa and India were).
Maybe in 8/12 months ago, there were good and bad boys, but now... It's a question of fun and strategy. 🙂
