Hello Austrians,

I'm Miloslav, leader of the AUSTRIAN LIBERTARIAN PARTY (ALP). As you may know, I lead a group of people from Quebec, Canada. We're French-speaking people tired of being hated by English-speaking people in Canada. We were planning to move here even before we knew about the start of the war in Canada. To restart our life in Erepublik we decided to come to Austria. Our intentions are good for Austria and Austrians. You can choose to trust me or not, but please don't treat us like invaders because we're not invaders. We want to live with you, not against you. Our party in Canada have experienced a Hungarian takeover attempt and I don't support this kind of action. Judge us on our ideas, not our origins. Our principal goal is to develop this country. The country is one of the least developed because of its population. So, when we come here we raise your economic potential. I want to be president of the country because of my ideas and policies. I've been living here for only 2 weeks but I already know many things about the country. My plan for the country can be summarized as such:

Economy

Our resources are very restricted. We only have wheat to produce things. We need to exploit this resource and keep away foreign companies, which take our money to their country. I propose to raise the import tax to 99% in order to stop foreign trade in this area and let our own companies make profit. With such, our money will stay in the country. I plan to help people willing to start a company in this area. If it's not enough, I will create some government companies. Wheat is the resource for food and our only way to get money. I propose to help get food companies like I plan to do with wheat. The tax will be also at 99%. As such, our money will stay here and we'll be self-sufficient in food and wheat. We'll need to buy export licenses to bring money here too. We'll buy licenses in countries where the taxes are low and where we can have a big part of the market so we will generate more money. My goal is to transform Austria into a self-sufficient country in all economic sectors. Like I said we only have one resource. To get more resources, we will start companies in other countries where we can have cheap employees and resources. Yes, we'll be hiring foreign people but we'll bring products from the companies to Austria and then Austrian companies in gifts, weapons, houses, tickets,... could have cheap raw materials to start theirs companies. We'll raise at 99% the import tax for all raw materials so we'll be the only provider of the resources. After our needs in other domains will be reached by companies, we will be able to increase the tax to 99% and then they will be 100% self-sufficient. We'll need to get companies with different quality levels to raise the tax. We'll export our products and get a lot of money easily. The money will be both in your pockets (the salaries will be higher due to the high amount of benefits) and in the government to execute projects to the benefit of Austria. The main goal is to help existing companies and the new one.

Society

With my economic plan we will be able to start more infrastructure projects. It will take time to get enough money to achieve them all but it’s worth the price! I plan to build a quality 5 defense system in the capital to be sure that our capital will not be occupied. After this, we'll need hospital in others provinces to bring people there. With no hospital it's very difficult to attract people there. Defence systems will be built to protect our land but it will take time! We need to prioritize the protection of Lower Austria where our only high production of grain territory is located. Programs to bring people in the country will be created to get a lot of new employees to help our economy. We need people but if we bring too much people it’ll create the risk of being taken over by others and disrupt our works for Austria. We'll also need a health care system providing cheap wellness to make sure our population has high wellness therefore is more productive. I plan to negotiate with countries that are occupying our regions to regain them.

Military

In order to have a good army we'll need to have training wars almost every day. Training wars will occur more often in our country. In this way, the whole population could fight with higher efficiency and eventually in invasions. Everyone will have more experience points which is a benefit to all. I think that the war in America is a great opportunity to show that Austria is a PEACE member. Therefore, we should help our allies and fight in Canada and the US. If we were not in PEACE, Austria would be under possession of another country so we need to show that we're a PEACE member! There are only positive points. The whole population will gain experience from the war, our allies will see that we are supporting them, weapons will be in demand so it's good for economy, and we'll perhaps regain a region under our control because we helped PEACE! If some countries attack us later because we were in the war, PEACE will help defend us, and as you know PEACE is the strongest alliance on Erepublik.

Administration

In order to reassure you that the government is doing a good job we'll write articles to show what we did with the government money. So, you'll know where your money is going and the accomplishments of the administration. You'll know our priority too. I also want to hear what the needs of Austria are and what you think of what we're doing. I'll create an organization to collect your opinions and suggestions.

The government cabinet will be made up of people in my party and of other parties to ensure that every ideology and opinion will be heard. In another article I'll reveal people who I think are worthy to be in the government. I have revealed my ideas and plans for now but I'll have more to come in my term! This is also our program for the congress elections.

I know that Austrians think we are people that will harm Austria. I need to be sincere with all of you. You may think I'm lying or telling the truth, but we're here to help you. We are no longer Canadians, we're Austrians! Please take the time to check my ideas and comment on them.
