The Battle of Nova Scotia Has Ended, The War For The Atlantic Has Begun *Updated

Good afternoon,

As I write we have slightly over an hour left in the current fight.

And though the Battle of Nova Scotia is soon over, The War for the Atlantic has just begun.

We in the government, and in the military, have been able to achieve a coordinated defense of Nova Scotia. And even as PEACE has thrown everything and the kitchen sink at us, we have matched them blow for blow, and shown the real strength of Canada!

This massive and awe inspiring show of strength and solidarity could not have been achieved without our allies. I speak of the United States, whose actions in word and deed have given us a great advantage. I speak of Spain, Romania, and Poland, who throughout the battle have been able to demonstrate to us their belief and loyalty to a united and independent Canada. Of Sweden, who have put aside past differences, of Malaysia and Norway, who despite their small stature have shown immense courage in standing up to world powers. And to the people of Germany and the United Kingdom, who despite the stances of their government, have to come to the aid of old friends and allies in their time of need.

We will not forget them for what they’ve done today.

Canada has shown the world that we are not afraid of PEACE. Where others might have bent and wavered in the face of onslaught, we have turned certain defeat to the hope of success, and perhaps one day it will be said that at Nova Scotia the fortunes of PEACE turned.

For now we wait, watch, and plan our next moves. Soon our sight and our thoughts will turn to Alaska and its defense as the gateway to Western Canada. We cannot discount the possibility of new attacks as the hours wear on, and we must be vigilant to defend our continent as the last true bastion of freedom and liberty against the forces of tyranny and imperialism.

Today, we may taste defeat, today we may shaken the resolve of PEACE with a great victory, but know this my friends:

WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER. NOT NOW, NOT EVER!

With the loss of Nova Scotia, once more PEACE has attacked PEI and already the wall is down to 60,000. However, we believe this to be a diversionary tactic, aimed at diverting Canadian resources while the attack on Alaska continues. We will not fall for this ruse.

So, as Prime Minister I ask that all Canadians fight in Alaska here:

Defending Alaska is vital considering its role as the gateway to Western Canada, so even though it is the defense of another country, we must treat an attack on Alaska as a direct attack on Canada.

That is not to say that we are abandoning PEI...however, we must be strategic in how we use our resources and the cost of losing Alaska would be difficult to bare.
