Declaration of Conservative Independence

On the 9th of July, 2009, I hereby proclaim the following truths of our Conservative movement. With the assistance and support of great patriots like former Party President Ron_Paul, former Vice President Bastion, and the scores of supporters who have honored me with their confidence in this campaign, we will fulfill all of these and bring about a golden age for Conservatism in the eUSA. With your help, I know we can achieve all of these objectives:
I. We will hold a platform convention where all members of the party will be given the opportunity to voice their opinions and vote upon a Conservative platform for our party and allied candidates to run upon.
II. We will have a positive growth rate every term and will have an aggressive recruiting campaign to regain our #3 spot in the top five and eventually beyond.
III. We will restructure the governing council to make it more effective and replace members who have been ineffective.
IV. All members of the party who wish to be involved in party leadership will be equally considered and judged by their willingness and attributes.
V. We will revolutionize Congressional campaigns with a brand new plan that will give us a huge advantage over our adversaries.
VI. We will have openness and transparency while corruption and cronyism will not be tolerated in my administration.
VII. All conferences we agree to participate in must not hinder our ability to develop and grow as a party or damage our potential impact on national elections.
VIII. Presidential Primaries will be handled privately and by unbiased individuals to avoid outside influences on the voting.
IX. General amnesty will be granted to all involved in prior scandals but Party President Mattoze5, who will also be granted conditional amnesty upon apologizing publicly for his conduct. This is a campaign about bold new ideas, not about revenge.
X. I will be an active party leader and if I am ever absent, there will be contingency plans in place to prevent any damage from our party from occurring. We will always be prepared.
XI. We will work with all reasonable individuals, but we will count those who violate the sovereignty of our party not to be amongst our allies. All free peoples have the right to choose their own path and we ask that all respect this fundamental right.
XII. We will never abandon our Conservative ideals for political expedience. Our beliefs will not only make our party stronger, but our country as a whole.

Are you taking into account how much they agree with you and your policies? Our just how vocal they are in their disagreement? Because there is a trend of you "firing" and "releasing" the people in place now, effective as soon as you come into office. And even more interesting are the people that have been receiving these pink slips.
Anyone who wishes to redeem themselves may do so. I do not hold grudges. I simply ask for proof of trustworthiness. I want differing voices and the new council will reflect an array of viewpoints. However, the Party President needs to be someone who all council members respect in that role ultimately. That's the key factor.
Also, there will be no elites handling anything. The people involved in counting votes will not be affiliated with any candidate. Also, all votes will be documented in case there needs to be any investigating. This is the best way to do it.

Your proposed handling of the Primaries has already been done (Except for not letting anyone qualified do it). It's not anything new.
No Hekter. I will likely bring in new people who have no bias to handle this.
So an "elite" or "person that's been around longer than a month" is always considered to have bias?
I would personally revel in the opportunity to watch a group of newbies coordinate an entire PM and Google Docs primary, especially with the "vastly increased numbers" you propose without any plan to actually achieve that.
To stop any confusion with this, Ajay, a question.

An elite is someone who wants to exclude other people and basically have a quasi-dictatorship. That is what will be avoided.

I am astounded at the irony of that statement.
But yet by your own definition you'd want to exclude those that want to exclude others, thus making yourself an "elite".

Just saw this little tidbit. This has brought forth another question/ This one is of a more personal nature.
You plan on firing me from my post effective immediatly as you take office. I have worked tirelessly for this party. Literally hours of my day. And by myself as well, I might add. As no one has agreed to step up and help me in a more official nature. I only have the best intentions for the betterment of the CvP. My only failing (if you can call it that) is that I do not agree with you in the belief that you are what this party needs.
I guess my question is, using your own criteria, how do you justify firing me?
Pig, actually my article about the endorsement got into the high 30's but TBB reported me for quoting him even though it was because he was impersonating someone. Anyway, regardless.. mine always have a lot of comments.
It is not contradictory if you actually read what I am proposing. I am cleaning house so to speak. No corruption, period. I am not making any of my specific plans public yet. If you would like to keep your post, show that you can respect the Party President whoever they may be. I am open to differing views, but you cannot serve a party when you do not believe in its leader. I deserve a chance to prove that I will do all that I claim and I intend to deliver on my promises. Also, you said you would leave if I won anyway. Furthermore, you wish to not talk to me anymore(your words, not mine) yet you continue? Odd.
If you must have clarification, I no longer wish to speak to you on IRC. You have a tendency to say not very nice things in regards to my character, my physical looks, and my personality. On eRep at least, we can talk moderated.

Before you write a constitution, you should learn to use a semi-colon.

In none of our conversations have I ever attacked you. I have, *one* time called you a name. I was wrong to do that. I will admit it. In doing so I lowered myself to your level. You want "proof"? I'm willing to post whole transcripts of a conversation we had together. I am willing to let people see and judge exactly who attacked whom. Are you willing to do this?

You like to say you're all about letting people make their own decision and having a voice. Give them all sides of a story. Allow them to make an entirely informed decision.

You do realize that most conservative principles do not apply to eRep, and that the use of them would devastate our economy. Applying RL political values in eRep is hard to do.

We have the highest tax rates in the world, so yes, many Conservative principles do apply. Also, stop twisting my words and trying to make something else out of them.
