Good Day eAustralia

Firstly, I would like to introduce myself to everyone as Dark Vorodor. I am a new citizen who is regularly active both on the eAustralia forums and ausrep IRC. With more than 4 months experience in the game I believe I should express my ideas to the Senate. I was also a former MoC (Minister of Culture) apprentice and currently Deputy Speaker of the Senate. There are a number of issues I will be assessing this Senate term...

CentreLink:
Yes.. It’s the Medicare problem again addressed by almost all Senators. I believe CentreLink should provide better transparency in all its transactions and spending. Although it has improved over the months, I believe more can be done in regard to this. Also, some companies inside CentreLink are quite useless and needs be reviewed. A discussion was passed through Senate at the beginning of this congress term but not much has been done. The” Department of Housing” company in particular looks like a big “white elephant”, currently holding two Q1 houses as well.

Defence:
We should hold our current stance with our diplomacy with other countries. I do not believe eAustralia should be an aggressor of any war in our region, but stay neutral and fight for our own interest when needed. However, I will continue to pressure the government to continue our current war games, where everyone can have their daily “fight” to push their wellness up. This will help workers in our country to work with high productivity and also to push our own citizen’s fighting ranks up. Our Dropbears and ACUK will be constantly given sufficient funding and will be daily “trained” to keep our country safe in case of any emergency which may threaten our country. This is done as they are the main backbone of our military. I will also watch over the AIRRA agreement and will make sure the return of our regions will be smoothly given back.

Economy:
The economy is currently running well apart from a few sectors. Our grain sector is over producing, pushing its prices down to a new low. This has had dramatic consequences on many companies and their GM’s where many are driving into losses and going bankrupt. However, the weapon’s sector is running well with demand for weapons continuously rising. This is because of our war games, but when they end, it may possibly burst this weapon’s bubble, slowing down demand on both weapons and iron. I will be with the government to fix these problems by stimulating demand in these sectors to lessen the impacts.

I am an active citizen who contributes greatly to eAustralia in a variety of ways, being qualified and experienced in all areas of the game. I, Dark Vorodor will be running in Tasmania in your AIP(Australian Independent’s Party) section of the ballot form on the 25th.
