i- election

When running for country presidency, a candidate must be at least level 14 and be either a member of one of the top five parties and endorsed by the party president, or endorsed by the party president of one of the top five parties.

The candidate with most votes is elected Country president and gets a nice Country President medal. The runner up becomes deputy president.

ii- laws

The president can vote and propose an unlimited amount of laws. The voting and proposal processes are similar to those used in the Senate.

Here is a list of the laws the president can propose:
Message to new citizens to alter the message new citizens get upon eBirth;
Buy a hospital to buy a hospital;
Buy a defense system to buy a defence system;
Alliance to propose a military mutual protection pact with to another country;
Declare war to go to war with another country;
Trading embargoes to propose a trading embargo on another country.

As we will see later, the real power of elected Politicians, whether presidents or Senators, lies in the legislative infrastructure placed around the law proposal tools.

There is even less material on country presidency than on the Congress, but here are the wiki articles any way: presidential election and president.
