Please wait up to 24 hours for Statesmen privileges granted. If you do not gain access after this time, this may mean you are not a member of Congress. XD

I urge all Congresspeople to vote YES for this proposal.

The main purpose of this committee is to educate players on how to play eRepublik well and enjoyably, particularly how to maintain Wellness, to prevent them from dying or getting bored from the game.

According to a statics report by avieGovernment (http://www.aviecreative.com/egovernment/) dated June 3, of the 695 citizens of the Philippines, 228 are dying, which means their Wellness are less than 10; 322 are unhealthy (10-39 Wellness); 125 are healthy (40-90 Wellness); and only 20 have excellent health (90+ Wellness).

Having a systematized organization educating players about Wellness would go well towards improving these numbers and retaining population.

A quote from the debate threa😛

Furthermore, the Congress/Senate Committee on Education is just a committee and not a full-fledged department/ministry. It shall operate as an arm of the legislature, and not of the executive branch/Cabinet, and, therefore, outside of the chief executive's purview.

This way, it will not dilute the government's focus on our mission-critical defense, economy, labor and foreign affairs ministries; while, at the same time, allowing proponents of thee education ministry some latitude to test the viability of such an organization.

If the committee is successful, this may encourage the government to absorb it into the Cabinet as a full-time ministry. If it fails, then it could be scrapped at a moment's notice without much incident.

As I said earlier, it's like DepEd BETA.

So, vote YES today. 😁

Yours,

Ariel David Buena
Congressionator for Visayas
