Thank You to eAustralia - AIP Secure 10 Seats in Elections
StewartB
Thank you to all the eAussies that voted for AIP Candidates this elections. It was an overwhelming turnout and AIP doubled the amount of Seats in Senate.
This was a great show from your all that as individuals we want our voices heard and that we have acknowledged that idea's can come from anywhere and therefore we should listen to everyone.
I am very proud to represent you and will do my best to continue the good work and to always be available to listen so please continue to message me with your ideas and lets keep working together to make this a Stronger and Fairer Country.
As promised I have donated my 5 Gold back to the Government Coffers. I urge all other senators to do the same. We have alot of companies to buy back from eInfo soon to get our regions back as per the agreement so every donation helps.
I also want to say well done to all the AIP Candidates it was a strong showing with 17 Candidates and shows that democracy is alive in eAus and shows there is alot of passion around to keep us going forward.
Now the hard work starts. I want to hear from people on proposals and ideas they would like us to present to government. Please message me with your idea's and then we will book a meeting on IRC to discuss further and how AIP can present the idea to the senate.
Regards

best wishes for new congress members
Best wishes - yet a quick question? I'm wondering a little at the tone of this that the AIP is now an Independent Party, as opposed to non-aligned independents? I don't mind either way (how could I being in the ADSP?!) but are you guys a group of 10, or 10 individuals people chose on their own laurels or both?
Agreed with RB, there has been a fair bit of discussion in the direction taken 😛
There will be discussions in AIP forum on issues and if a common ground found with Senators we will work on proposals together.
In the elections though everyone ran independently it was not run on any common platform apart from we all want to improve eAustralia.
AIP is still a party of individuals no polices or party lines are put forth. From my personal involvement I did review presentations if people wanted me to but more from helping with format and structure not content. I joined AIP and became PP only to help mentor people in politics but not to push any agenda.
This reply is getting long so if you want to know more about my personal opinion happy to catch up on IRC.
Ok - Thanks for clarifying!
😛
Yeah I can understand the confuson but to put it it simple terms, on some things a few of us agree on and will work together, on other things we just work by ourselves. People should still vote for the individual platform though as those indivduals wont change or their ideals.
