Maverick Goh for Congress

Day 546, 05:07 Published in Australia Australia by Maverick Goh

Newsflash – Maverick Goh is running for congress in the hot and humid NT! Through the graciousness and generosity of the NT population, I was elected into the Senate a month ago and once again I want to thank the NT citizens, because ultimately you hold the power to get me in or out of senate, and you put me in.

What have I achieved in my 1 month in senate? I have done my part, but it is never enough. You can always be doing more to serve the citizens of eAustralia. During the negotiations for the AIRRA (Australian-Indonesian Region Return Agreement), I was there to push for the return of eAustralian states. I have to admit that due to unavoidable RL commitments, I was unable to be fully present at the urgent Senate discussions except for one, but I did play my part in it.

I have also exercised my vote in all Senate votes held over the past month. My vote is a vote from the NT citizens, and I have voted in the best interests of the citizens of NT and eAustralia. This has included voting for the wargames to proceed and lowering the taxes for weapons and iron. All of these have helped increase the productivity and wellness of the eAustralian citizens.

I am also currently in the middle of looking at the possibility of lowering the VAT for food to help the newer citizens. I have brought this up in the Senate, and I hope this will help the citizens.

I have also been involved in the eMentor program as I have always had a passion in helping newer players out, as I was once a new player myself, before StewartB came, mentored me, and helped me to where I am now.

I am also currently Deputy Minister of Information and CEO of Eureka Holdings. I believe I have looked after the welfare of the employees as best as I can, and that the employees have generally been happy and satisfied with their working conditions.

What are my plans for the next term?
- Ensuring the timely return of eAustralian regions
- Ensuring the continued security of eAustralia through diplomatic means
- Ensuring adequate funding to our military
- Reducing VAT for food
- Ensuring the Ministry for Culture continues to develop and grow in helping new players

If I have not performed my duties well as a Senator for the past 1 month, I don’t deserve to be re-elected. But if you feel that I have done enough and could be doing more, I hope to continue serving you in Senate for another month. Your vote is your voice in the government!

Cheers,
Maverick Goh
Passionate eAustralian
