Elections/Drama and Congressional leavings and my Re-Election Bid

Ok so this will be a multi topic presentation from me to everyone who reads this.
1. Elections and Drama
If any of you have been reading the eSingapore official forums, you'll have noticed a bit of drama going on. Tingmel is demanding that our current presidents cabinet be 100% transparent... in short, tingmel wants to be let in on everything before its even out of a rough idea form. This is a really bad idea. While I am all for Governmental transparency, allowing tingmel and anyone else who wanted to access to rough ideas and or rough drafts of laws will only cause more confusion than it would fix.
tingmel Is also rather heated over our current orginizational layout. tingmel would have most of our treasury gold spent to form 8 orgs under the view of 8 other people instead of the way we have it now. This is a BAD idea as it creates even more holes in security, something that tingmel insists it would "Fix" to prevent thieft... 8 different orgs, 8 different people knowing the password... not very secure.
2. Congressional members leaving
ExoM7 is the newest congressmember to leave before the term is over. William_Shafer and SheShe were the two who left before ExoM7. I have no idea why Exo has left (I just got on) but at least ExoM7 did a marginally better job than William and SheShe, whos only aspirations were to get their 5 gold and scoot. This puts us down to 7 congressmembers to vote on laws that shape this country.
3. Re-Election
I know its very very early to be doing this BUT I am announcing my intent to run for congressional re-election when the next elections come along. I'm here to stay the course for Singapore and do what I can to better Our Nation.

You really are a moron. I left because I didn't even want to be in congress. Sherece left because she's stupid.
You need to think about what you're reporting, boy, you might end up saying something false, as you just did.
As my CoS, Relorian has done and exemplary job, all the while maintaining his duties as a congressman. Although in my position I cannot endorse any one candidate for congress, I can vouche he is here to serve you. Good luck to you Relorian.

Tingmel's transparency law will only help eSingaporeans know the game better and allow newbies to be integrated into the game.
Maybe we can tell everyone what laws are being proposed in the forums through the new eSingapore newspaper that navy II was talking about. You don't have to let the citizens comment on it but letting them know about it will be a big help for eSingapore politics and citizens to join in the game process.
The kinds of things being discussed behind closed doors in the government only forum aren't just mundane tax laws and donations to orgs. They're discussing matters of national security, alliances, and other top tier deals with foreign presidents and ambassadors.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Loose lips sink ships"? If we were to make that forum public, foreign nationals could learn all our state secrets, and could gain an advantage over us.
Imagine if the administration were about to sign a deal to join Atlantis (This is a hypothetical situation btw) and Indonesian spys found out. 48 hours later, no more eSingapore.
Thats why Tingmel's idea is a bad one.

@william... Please dont try playing the "i didnt want to get elected" game. At any point, If you didnt want to be elected you could have pulled yourself out of the race easily. Theres a nice red button that allows you to pull yourself out of the running so the "Oh poor me, I didnt want to be in congress" is bull and trying to maintain your story is sad.
I prefer if these stuff are discussed elsewhere other than in public.
We don't just make judgements about other people like that, and we should talk it out before posting stuff like this in the media.
That's what makes politics clean.
@Teh You Jing. I dont understand why you'd like us to keep people leaving congress a seceret. Or is it the fact that Im still calling William and SheShe out for their craptastic shafting of eSingapore?
ExoM7's reasons, now that I've read them make sense.
Making politics clean is more about not smearing your competition and not screwing with their entire party for your own political gain. At least thats clean politics to me. William will probily never run here again and SheShe... who knows.
No, its the one about the forums. I prefer that to remain out of public. It's enough to have everything so heated up there.

Haha. And target the policies, not the people, please, Relorian. You're bordering on the abrasive, although from what I've seen that's how much of it's turned out. Broken laptop means I can't access the forums, but the tension's been building a bit even here.
That said, it does seem a tad impractical, the alternative.

Also keep in mind the conversation you had with Arb in the IRC room that I was witness to where she called you on your BS.
