Tupac Shakur: Alive ? [ENG]

Day 536, 10:29 Published in Romania United Kingdom by Dodgy Dude

Hey. I'm Dodgy Dude. I've decided to write a RL life article, about something which i'm very interested in. I personally am leaning slightly towards the, ALIVE, side, but please make your own mind up.

Tupac Shakur's life supposedly ended in September of 1996, a gangster who died a gangster's death, the victim of a drive-by shooting.

But in the years since, fans and friends of the rapper/actor have kept rumors alive that the star might not have died at the hands of an anonymous gunman that warm September night. It's here, at the supposed end of Shakur's life, where our journey begins.

The first album after Tupac's "death" was released in November of 1996: Makaveli: Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. The title aroused some curious glances from those who knew Shakur. The first part of the title refers to Niccol Machiavelli, an old-school Italian philosopher who believed the faking one's own death was a sure way to foil his enemies. Machiavelli's two most famous books, Discorsi dopra la prima deca di Tito Livio (Life With Tito) and Il Principe (Ill Communication) were both written well after his death. Some wonder if Tupac's reference wasn't a signal to the world that things were not as they seemed.

This is perhaps mere paranoia, as this album was obviously recorded while Tupac was "still" alive. But then, one year later, R U Still Down? is released in stores (November of '97). This was a full 14 months after the performer's death, and Tupac appeared in three videos in support of the album. When questioned about this, Tupac's manager Robert Bloomenstein said, "Tupac was a forward-thinking man. His performances in those videos were shot more than two months before his unfortunate 'death,' and in no way should indicate that Tupac is still alive."

Mr. Bloomenstein's words weren't enough to keep the rumors from spreading, however, especially after November of 1998. That's when Tupac released 2pac's Greatest, a greatest hits compilation that included six new tracks. Record company executives claimed that these tracks were also recorded years before; yet this is contradicted by the timeliness of the lyrics. Tupac makes references to the film Armageddon in one track and in another he congratulates the Denver Broncos on winning the Super Bowl - both events taking place well after Shakur was supposedly in the grave. Again, rumors of a massive hoax emerged. Bloomenstein again dismissed the talk as nothing more than rumor mongering.

"This is nothing more than rumor mongering," said Bloomberg. "Tupac was a hard-working, busy musician and the continued release of new material should in no way indicate that Tupac is actually alive and living in South America under the assumed name of Jamal Millwood."

The next few years turned out to be the most prolific of Tupac's recording career. Still I Rise (with Outlawz) hit the scene in December of 1999. The "Lost" Tapes: Circa 1989 appeared in April of 2000 and The Rose that Grew from Concrete came in November of that same year. Tupac recorded tracks for Suge Knight Represents: Chronic 2000, a compilation of all of the artists Suge Knight claimed to have killed. He also performed live for an album called Funkmaster Flex & Big Kap: The Tunnel. New Tupac tracks then turned up on Cellblock Compilation: Face Off II and Too Gangsta for Radio, before an album of all-new Tupac tracks, Until the End of Time, appeared in 2001.

"I simply wish the public could let Mr. Shakur rest in peace," said Bloomenstein. "Mr. Shakur has actively denied all accusations about still being alive, and he will continue to do so until the day of his, uh... nevermind."

When the album Better Dayz appeared in November of 2002, many music critics noted that Tupac had released more albums since his death (seven) than many of the nation's top living artists.

When that fact is coupled with the references to the World Trade Center attack in one track of Better Dayz plus the curious title of the B-side single Empty Coffin, rumors again were rampant. Is it merely the product of a rabid fan base that cannot let go of their beloved hero?

One player in this drama who is not speaking out is Tupac himself. Rumors insist that Tupac will be headlining shows in Chicago, Milwaukee and Indianapolis in the next few weeks. Shakur can also be seen starring in the new thriller Streets on Fire with Keanu Reeves this summer and will allegedly host Saturday Night Live in October of this year.

Add that to the CNN story in Spring of 2005 which clearly stated Tupac was alive... (see picture)

Will we ever know the answer? I doubt it. Some also claim that certain tracks, such as Still Breathin' and I'm not dead, M**h*rf**kers contain hints about the star's supposed passing.

But even if Tupac's life is over, our search for the truth cannot be. And there are millions of fans who will not stop until they have it.

Tupac :: Alive Theories

Some people believe that Tupac faked his death and is still alive today. Many of these belivers belive that Tupac should have returned on the 13th september 2003, after been hiding for 7 years. Below are some of the theories:

Tupac died at the age of 25. (2+5=7)

Tupac was shot on Sept. 7th

Tupac survived the shooting through the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and died on the 13th. (7 Dayz)

Official time of Tupac's death was 4:03 p.m. (4+0+3=7)

Tha' Outlawz consisted of 7 members

In the video Toss It Up, Tupac breaks a mirror at the very end of the video. (7 Years of Bad Luck)

R U STILL DOWN was released on November 25th. Not only the age of his death, but 2+5=7.

Tupac's birthday is on the 16th. (1+6=7)

In the Intro of Makaveli DK 7 Day Theory, there are six gun shots going off, but when the songs starts, there's the 7th.

Tupac died on Friday the 13th.

The cover of Makaveli DK 7 Day Theory holds many hidden icons, and references.

Nothing on the Makaveli CD gives it's respect with R.I.P. Tupac.

The only witness who was going to step up and I.D. the shooter was Kadafi (Yafeu Fula) but he was shot a few months after Tupac.

In the first few seconds of the Makaveli song INTRO/BOMB FIRST, you can hear who is claimed to be Kadafi saying "Suge Shot Me"

Tupac always rapped and did videos on his death, and how his funeral would be. Why was he cremated?

In Richie Rich's album, "Seasoned Veteran," on the song called, "Nigg**s Done Changed," Tupac says, "I've been shot and murdered, can't tell you how it happened word for word, but best believe that nig**s gonna get what they deserve..." The album was released on the same day as, "The 7 Day Theory."

In the song, " Life of An Outlaw," an Outlaw says, "All For the street fame on how to be managed, to plan s**t six months in advance to what we plotted, approved to go on swole, and now I got it..."

In the song, "Made Nig**s," on the, "Gang Related," and, "Supercop," soundtracks, Tupac says, "F**k 'em all who can't understand my plot to get richer...Outlaw to the grave, a motherfu***n made ni**a..."

In E-40's duet with Tupac called,"Million Dollar Spot," Tupac states, "Fans can't understand my ghetto slang, so I evade and plot and plan a life of better things..."

In the song, "Ain't Hard 2 Find," Tupac says, "I heard rumors that I died, murdered in cold blood, tramatized pictures of me in my final states, you know mama cried, but that was fiction, some coward got the story twisted..."

In Tupac's song, "No More Pain," he says, "A heart of a soldier with the brains to teach a whole nation..." Is he referring to Jesus or Machiavelli?

The video, "I Ain't Mad At Cha, " was released only days after Tupac's, "death." It depicts Tupac being gunned down much of the way he was really shot.

"I Ain't Mad At Cha," is also track number 13 on, "All Eyez On Me," and Tupac died on Friday the 13

In the, "I Ain't Mad At Cha," video, Tupac dies. In his next video, "Toss It Up," his name is Makaveli.

In the, "Hail Mary," video, there is a gravestone that says, "Makaveli." It is cracked and there's a hole in front of it; this inplies that Makaveli rose from the dead.

In the,"Smile," video with Scarface, Tupac is crucified...Later he falls and stands up and it appears to be a double. Still, is this another image of resurection? Why make people so suspicious?

One of Machiavelli's books is, "Discourses Upon The First Ten Books Of Titus Livy," which it's claimed Tupac read in jail. In Book 2, Chapter XIII He says, "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to decieve..." This is very similar to verses in some of Tupac's songs.

Some say that Tupac modified the Machiavelli name because if you rearrange the letters, they spell, "Am Alive," or, "I Am Alive."

Machiavelli's books were called, "Book 1," and, "Book 2." The CD's of, "All Eyez On Me," are entitled the same

"Ambitionz as a Ridah," Verse 1: " Now these money hungry bit**es gettin' suspicious, started plott'n and planin' on schemes..."

"Ambitionz as a Ridah," Verse 3: "payoff tha block, evade tha cops, 'cause I know they comin' for me, I been hesitant to reappear been away for years now I'm back...my adversaries been reduced to tears...

"White Man's World," 3rd verse:"Time so tell me why, you changed choosing new direction, in a blink of an eye, my time away just made perfection... Did you think I'd die, not gonna cry ..."

"Life of an Outlaw", Verse 2:"Who should I call when I'm shot and bleedin, indeed the possibility has part a chase in cream, dope got me hatin' fiends. Scheme wit my team, just a chosen few."

"Blasphemy", Verse 2:"I'm contemplating plots, wondering which door to go, brotha getting shot, coming back resurrected, it's just that raw s**t, ni**a check it..."

Did Bone Thugs N Harmony play a role in helping Tupac fake his death? In the, "Thug Luv," song, right before Tupac starts rapping, Bizzy can be heard in the background saying, "He's alive, he's alive, he's alive..."

Machiavelli's book, "the Art of War," is also the name of Bone's new album.

In the movie, "Gridlock'd," when Tupac and Roth are in the diner and they glance up at the menu, all the L's are upside down 7's.

In the movie, "Gang Related," Tupac and Belushi wait in room 7, and Tupac's badge number is 115; 1+1+5=7.

Is Kadafi really alive too? In, "Starin' At The World Through My Rearview," he says,"...as you reminis(sorry about spelling) wit your crew, smoke a blunt for me too, I'm starin' through your rearview..."

The song in which Tupac says he's alive, "Hold Ya Head," on the Makaveli CD, before Tupac begins rapping, a voice says, "Can you see him?" Another voice replies, "I see him." Then Tupac softly says, "I'm alive..."

The uncontested facts:

After leaving the Tyson fight on Saturday September 7, 1996, Tupac was alledgedly shot 5 times. He lived through the shooting and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead on Friday September 13, 1996.

The suspicious facts:

Friday the 13th is a very suspicious day.

There were never any pictures released of Tupac in the hospital.

In the song "Life Goes On", Tupac raps about his own funeral.

The driver of the car in which Tupac was riding, Suge Knight (the executive producer of Death Row Records), didn't show up for questioning about the shooting.

The video "I ain't Mad at Cha" was released only a few days after his death. "I ain't Mad at Cha" is track 13 on the album All Eyes On Me. The video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. In the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend, which is very similar to how he was shot in real life.

Interestingly, Tupac dies in his last video released under the name "2Pac". His new video "Toss It Up" from the new album was released under the name "Makaveli". The second video to be released by the name Makaveli is "To Live and Die in L.A." But how could they shoot the second video when he is "dead". Was the video really shot 4 months before his death, back in August of '96?

In the video "Hail Mary" released under the name Makaveli, there is a gravestone that says Makaveli. But the gravestone is cracked and there is a hole right in front of it, inferring that Makaveli rose from the dead.

A shooting involving Snoop Doggy Dogg occured close to the release of his album Doggystyle. The shooting made Snoop appear more "real" and showed his fans that he really was a gangsta. The shooting gave him respect because everyone that bought his album believed what he was talking about. Within one week of its release, Doggystyle went platnium. Snoop was signed to the same label as Tupac which is Death Row Records.

In December '96, Tupac's new album went platinum. In interviews prior to the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a gangsta and get out of the limelight. What is the only way Tupac could completly escape the media spotlight ??? (Answer: if the public thought he was dead.)

Press wasn't going to be allowed at the funeral, but then the funeral was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Tupac ALWAYS wore a bulletproof vest, no matter where he went. Why would he have removed it at a very public event like a Tyson fight?

In most of his songs he talks about being buried, so why was he allegedly cremated the day after he "died"? And since when do they cremate someone the day after death in a murder case?

Tupac's alias is Makaveli. Though the spelling is different, Machiavelli was a 16th century italian philosopher who advocated the staging of one's death in order to evade one's enemies and gain power. In Machiavelli's book Discourses Upon the First Ten Books of Titus Livy, in Book 2 Chapter XIII he says "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to deceive". This is Machiavelli's main idea and is the connection between Tupac and the writings of Machiavelli.

Tupac studied Machiavelli in depth while in prision was a fan and had read his books several times. Perhaps Tupac is taking his advice. Machiaveli wrote two books before his death. Look at what the All Eyez on Me disks are called.. Machiavelli's books were called, "Book 1," and, "Book 2." The CD's of, "All Eyez On Me," are entitled the same

The title of the album by Makaveli (Tupac) is The 7 Day Theory. He was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and "died" on the 13th. Hence the title The 7 Day Theory.

Tupac's album All Eyes on Me was released on Feb.13, 1996. Tupac "died" on Sept.13, 1996. It is quite a coincidence that the two dates are exactly 7 months apart.

Tupac officially died at 4:03 PM. 4+3 = 7 Also he "died" at an age of 25 years. 2+5 = 7. It seems as if seven is Tupac's number.

The executive producer of The 7 Day Theory , as listed in the CD booklet of the album, is Simon (who is a previously unknown producer in the rap music).

I have only written the bare minimum, because otherwise this would go on for ever and ever.

I hope you enjoyed reading this.
Of course, the Bloomenstein quotes, weren't, EXACTLY, quotes, but, um........

Thanks for reading.

Yours,
