Editorial | A Strong PHP, Good or Bad for the Economy?
Swagger McSwag
At the moment, the lowest offer for 1 GOLD is 77.5 PHP.
While a strong currency sounds good, are we sure we want it to get stronger?
Remember that we want to encourage exports, not imports.
What do you think? Shall we issue more money or shall we allow our currency to run its current course?
Please tell me what you think.

Well the answer is quite simple, it all depends on the private sector. Exporting companies love a weak ePHP while importing companies love the reverse. That is if you use the marketplace as your primary venue since it is valued primarily in ePHP. But when you use the blackmarket or company contracts then the issue of Gold to ePHP convesion becomes more and more moot primarily because comapnies tend to trade in Gold especially in international contracts. Peace out (may natutunan ako sa Economics 101 hahahah)
Well said, Anti-Beelzebub, well said.
It should depend solely on the private sector.
