[DonMogul] TBP for Congress in Northern Territory!

Day 519, 19:38 Published in Australia India by DonMogul

Hello my Northern Territory friends!

The Senate elections are swiftly approaching and I am your True Blue Party (TBP) candidate. The TBP has been going from strength to strength and is becoming an important player in making Australia what it is today: a strong, vibrant and thriving nation.

In this article, I will not brag about my past after all, it does not matter what you have done in the past. It is what you will do in the future that counts. (although if you wish to see my past experience visit my wiki page at http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/DonMogul)

"So what do you stand for socially, economically, politically and militarily?"

Socially

I will never cease to work for an even-more-active nation. In both the forums and in game. I will also do my best to get more citizens into Australia. We are a strong nation, but more people will make us stronger. We must as we did in the RL Australia in the mid to late 1940s, “populate or perish.” I for one would rather the former than the latter.

Economically

I support the introduction of a RRP chart – in principle. It is a very nice sounding theory and looks good on paper and the numbers are accurate.

The problem with this chart is that it does not look at game mechanics. What happens when we have, for example, 10 companies selling the same goods at the same price? What happens to those companies at the bottom of the list? They will eventually either be faced with bankruptcy or must sell underneath the RRP; other companies will see the price and lower their prices. We will be staring at massive deflation until a few of the companies decide that they have had enough and sell out by which time the RRP for that good will have been either forgotten by the companies or changed by the Senate.

The RRP chart sounds great but due to the workings of eRepublik, cannot and will not work.

Politically

I will strive to ensure that the democratic rights of every citizen are protected - to the hypothetical death if necessary. Any attempt to curb any right of any citizen will be publicly denounced.

I, like many citizens of the Australia, have become tired of mudslinging. I am all for a reasonable, intellectual debate on any given issue. That is the way it needs to be and that is the way it needs to remain for the future so that future Australian citizens are eBorn into an efficient and welcoming nation. However, the childish mudslinging that has been going on between citizens, politicians and parties needs to stop so that this may occur.

I support the agreement we have with Indonesia. The alternative method suggested by certain people to gaining Australian independence, will take too long – and if the RWs suggested by these people are started contrary to the agreement between Australia and Indonesia could and probably would result in the swift destruction of Australia - a destruction that would most likely be permanent.

Militarily

Now that we have our Q5 hospital we must look at organising war games with another nation, or perhaps even tie it in with future RWs that Australia may organise in the future under the terms of our agreement with Indonesia. These war games will provide a boost through our economy through purchases of certain items as well as (if done properly) the increased wellness of all citizens that participate.

If you have any questions please send them to me via PM or simply just post your question below!

That is all for now my friends! Please vote True Blue Party for the Senate elections!
