Prime Minister Mid Term Update

Gday Australians,
It has just about been 2 weeks since I emerged as the winner of one the most epic duel in Australian Prime Minister election history. The country was split 50/50 and it probably still is so, so by no means has it been an easy 2 weeks. There has been a lot of activity, both in the Senate and Cabinet, so I will do my best now to update you on what has been going on.
The Senate
I have swiftly gone through on my election promise of making our executive government more transparent with my proposal of the release of Cabinet Papers passing as well as my Inspector General Act. The Inspector General election process shall begin have next Senate election. The Order of Australia Act is being passed through the Senate as we speak.
Cabinet
The new Department for Immigration is going well, with the already establishment of the Welcoming Committee, in conjunction with the Department for Culture. Social services has been put on hiatus, with the banning of scripts running meaning we can't run the gifting scheme. We are looking for an alternate method.
Cabinet Reshuffle
Due to other commitments these ministers are being replaced by others; Alte Altus (Co Minister for Social Services),Juan Tamad (Co Treasurer), Vincent Grey (Co Minister for Foreign Affairs) and Deilos (Co Minister for Defence) . As such a cabinet change will occur. Here is the new cabinet:
Prime Minister: Patti11
Deputy Prime Minister: Widdows9000
Treasurer: Cottus Arci
Ministers for Defense: Widdows900/Deilos
Ministers for Industry: corny-ratbag/scotywest
Ministers for Foreign Affairs: zaney/taytaz
Ministers for Social Services: Br0adside/ranger bob
Ministers for Culture: Derek Apollyon/Mouj
Ministers for Immigration: StewartB/Gercon Bonn
New additions to the cabinet are the great zaney, who has agreed to come back to help out and ranger bob, who has shown he is willing and up to the task of holding a ministry. I wish both this guys the best of luck.
As you can see Cottus is by himself as MoF and Deilos is still in MoD. I am requesting applications for MoF and MoD. These are going to be the 2 most important Departments in the next few weeks so only the best of the best is wanted.
War Games
As our Q5 hospital has been built we are looking to participate in 'War Games' wars which are staged to boost the economy of nations while giving experience to soldiers and citizens. It has been speculated we are holding these with Indonesia although that is simply not the case. Indonesia do not want to hold these with us as they have a major war with Romania and ATLANTIS. We are already in contact with a group of nations about these. This is Sensitive Information for now so I cannot elaborate further.
Indonesia Contract
The contract with Indonesia is nearly finished and will be signed in the next 2 weeks most likely. Indonesia has been in a mess as their President DonAgung resigned so it has been tough so far. This contract once signed will benefit both us and Indonesia.

You have several players that ain't even in congress in cabinet positions. Are you saying that those in congress ain't good enough? Also looking at the list, it appears that there's a absence of players that should be there & this appears to be on party political lines. This cabinet appears to reaffirm the us vs them ideology that's in eAustralian politics.
@AW: Why do you need to be in congress to be in cabinet? All those not in cabinet are either very experience (DA, widds, Deilos and zaney) or are relatively new citizens, ranger bob stewartb and gercon bonn, who are all running for congress this term anyway.
Oh and too say I choose my cabinet on party lines is simply not true. 4 members are from right parties and this was because they were the best candidates for the job.
@Bobius: Here is the previous contract/agreement with Indonesia http://erepublik.com.au/?q=node/1 . It will be similar to that. I cant say the benefits yet but I can say we will get regions.

Your selection of multi-party candidates for the cabinet is a fantastic idea. May they work well for a constructive ministry.

@rulke; the old contract was always avaliable
@AW: If you bothered to read Government Policies on the Forums, you would realise that Cabinet Minister do NOT have to be Senators, they are NOT voted by the People but are invited to join and become Cabinet Ministers and Members at the PMs discretion. That means that if the PM only wants Cabinet Members from their own party then they are within their right to do so, however I doubt they would get another term in office if they did so. Try reading the eAustralian Parliamentary Process Act (04/09) http://forum.erepublik.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=434 you might actually learn something about Politics in this Country.

Australia should get an alliance since we our last alliance was 2 months ago, so yeah, eAustralia should get a country to ally with, like Portugal or Romania, this is just my opinion.
