Preview is your best friend.
Q J Lincoln
At the end of every editing block, you have two buttons "Save Page" and "Show Preview". The best wiki editors make a point to click "Show Preview" before saving. Why?
*It gives you a chance to check that your template is working correctly
*It gives you time to proofread your work (and to catch how many times you type "teh" instead of "the")
*It allows you to fix format
*It allows you to fix links (links are case, spacing, and spelling sensitive, you might create a wiki link to a page that isn't there, like to "Irland" instead of "Ireland")
Also, many editors, especially the Syops, patrol the Recent Changes page http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Special:Recentchanges to check the changes to the wiki. A lot of minor edits are clutter and distract the editors.
Not using Preview is a rookie mistake. (Believe me, we have all been there!! And I even have days where I forget.) I hope that this information will help you on your way to becoming a better wiki editor.

I feel guilty for having ignored the preview function for a few time ago. Awesome. :3
No need to feel shame... I am just trying to make everyone a better wiki editor! 🙂
{{Preview}} 😃
I admit it... it is hard but you can master it if you wish!
