Libertarian Party Presidency
Hurling
Our current Party President, Publius, contacted me a couple of days ago saying that demands on his time were forcing him to cut back his activities to allow him to concentrate in a more focused manner on those that remain. He asked if I would consider running as his replacement. With great humility and gratitude to the person who has not only guided our party for months, but who has also been a generous and helpful mentor to me, I accept Publius' offer. I ask that tomorrow you elect me President of the Libertarian Party.
For those Libertarians who do not know me from my posts in the eUS forum (http://eusforum.com/index.php), then your sole knowledge of me might be the get-out-the-vote spams that I sent you prior to the last Congressional election. Vote for me and you will get more of the same. I have worked and will continue to work to get our candidates on the ballot and in the Congress.
I serve in the eUS Army. Today I was promoted to Lieutenant. I contribute actively to economic and political debates on the eUS forum regarding our government and society. I recently started my own small business, while still working for the same employer I have had since just after starting this game. In short, I am an active, contributing member of this game and I ask that you let me do this one bit more.
I urge you to go to the Libertarian party thread on the eUS forum. There you can find an indication of my political views in the Manifesto Drafting Room topic, where Publius, a few other members and I have been working to create our party's foundation document.
We are the second largest political party by number of members but we are not proportionately represented in Congress. This is no one's fault but our own. Promise #1 - I will work with senior, experienced party members to target those states where we can win the greatest number of seats next election and draft candidates to stand for election in those states with the party's backing. I will also continue to work with Publius and with any other party members who wish to help draft our Libertarian Manifesto. And then, in about three weeks, we will nominate and elect the next Libertarian President of the eUS.
Please remember to vote tomorrow for our Party President. It's good for you.

I'll vote for ya, however I am still slightly against a Libertarian Manifesto becasue Libertarianism is such a changing idea your unlikely to get the same definition of "Libertarian" from two separate Libertarians.
P.S: I'm thinkin' (and pretty sure by now) That I would like to run for Congress, think you'd support/allow me? I believe you also know me from the US Forums
The idea of a Libertarian Manifesto does always remind me of Will Rogers' quip, "I am not a member of any organized political party - I am a Democrat." Nevertheless, I think that a document that explains in very broad strokes what Libertarianism is about can help people, especially those new to the game, decide if we are the party they should join.
And, yes and yes. I know you well from the forum and think that you are exactly the sort that we need to find a seat for next cycle. Active, intelligent, involved - a great eRep combination.
Voted. Good luck!
I endorse Hurling for Party President.
