Altus for Party President

Day 474, 00:56 Published in Australia Australia by Alte Altus

To all members of the ANP, and those non-members who might be considering joining:

Now that the election for Prime Minister is over, it is time to turn to the next election - for Party President. Sadly, Calibur has announced his retirement from eAustralian politics, and plans to pursue a military career. We wish him all the best. His contributions to the Party and Country as a whole cannot be underestimated.

I am running for Party President because I believe I am the best man for job. I am one of the Party's original members and I have seen firsthand our transition from the bottom of the pile, an unwarranted right-wing party in a country full of left-of-centre views, to our present enviable position as the Opposition Party. We now have a voice that must be heard.

We support a relatively free market, we value entrepreneurialism, we hold the individual above the state. If the current administration loses face, we provide the alternative.

I have been one of the ANPs most outspoken members for some time. I have Calibur's support for the PP spot, I was named as his Deputy Prime Minister should he have been elected, I am a third time congressman/senator, I have been a member of ANP council from the start. I was the first ever Party Vice President. I know the ins and outs of running this Party better than just about anyone.

My main rival, Mr. Awesome, has his strong points. His ability to attract votes in the last senate elections was very impressive for one. I will point out though, that as a percentage of ANP votes in his electorate, Bilbarus came out trumps with a whopping 50%. I will also note that I lead the ANP leader board in my own electorate. So take that with a grain of salt.

This is an appeal to every member of the ANP, that if you value experience, if you enjoy the importance we have risen to under our past leadership, and if you would like us to continue along our present path to new and even more glorious heights in the tradition to which we have become accustomed, then I suggest you vote for me in the coming election.

I strongly encourage every ANP member to sign up to the forums at
