Once again Congress election time approaches for the new Germany. Citizens from all over Germany will be able to elect their officials to represent them in the Reichstag for a month.
I, Christophia, will be standing for election in Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) and ask for your votes.
I resettled in Germany about a month ago after a brief period in Russia, and have since been the German Ambassador to the United Kingdom, where I am working for closer relations between our two nations and between Germany and our European neighbours. I am a founding member of the new Bürgerliches Deutschland party; we support change and a stronger Germany in a peaceful and cooperation Europe.
For months now, Germany has had a bitter history with Sweden - both sides are to blame, we must accept responsibility for our mistakes, as well as Sweden, but I believe it is time to put this behind us and work for the future. We must learn to respect our European neighbours, including Sweden, and work closely with them, if we are to gain their trust and support.
Although I completely understand our Government's reasons for the trade embargo against Sweden, I do not support it and will push for its removal at the next avaliable opportunity. We must make sacrifices if we are to be accepted as a honourable state, and we must be patient. Germany must learn to build relationships with countries before asking for alliances.
I stand against both PEACE and ATLANTIS and wholeheartedly support German neutrality. This said, I also support the European Social Alliance and hope Germany will be able to play a significant role in its creation. I would like to see more alliances with ATLANTIS nations, including Sweden, but I accept this will take time and we should not push for them.
If elected for Lower Saxony, I will work to improve the stability of the region and of Germany by pushing for funding for Defence Systems and Hospitals.
