Best of luck with your Communist party. I might just move to Australia and join it. I would be careful about how much control of the economy you take though. The Americans have a way of sticking their noses where they don't belong when they hear the word Communist.

@ Taytaz, True Democracy was direct democracy where every citizen (well every Greek male of good standing) was allowed a yes or no vote and each vote was equal to the person next to them, Republics remove that, for example there are things in the senate now which I strongly disagree on but because I am not a member of congress my vote does not count and is not heard. I must rely on my elected members to a) voice my concerns and b) vote based on that and the other people they represent.

so it is still democracy, but not direct eh?

Simple Bilbarus, by ramping up the process started by the ADSP. I like to see new players being given the opportunity to get started, but I also want to see players do well & succeed. The moves being undertaken by these people are going to negatively impact on the ability of players in eAustralia to do well & succeed. Once players start to do well they're considered evil players that need to be taken down a notch (of course this evil tag never seems to apply to themselves).

Personnally I can see myself having offshore operations to excape the situation that's developing in eAustralia. I'm sure that you'll find that many experienced eAustralian's (which I'm not yet) will leave eAustralia altogether.

@ Taytaz, the correct true democracy was EVERY citizen (not person) had to vote on EVERY issue and all the votes we considered equal regardless if the person was Socrates or just a simple business owner. I use the past tense in this because we have never seen True Democracy since that point. Corruption took hold and elitests took advantage of the system so it was disbanded in favour of ruling elites again until the democratic republic system was formed from a combination of the Greek version of Democracy and the Roman Senant.

@ Alex Australis, The Athenian democracy was also enforced. They got the "cops" out to round up people to make sure they voted. All governmental systems have their own inherent flaws.

As I said they quickly disbanded the system as is was inherently flawed, I also find it hilariously ironic that the RL USA fights for what they tell their citizens is “democracy” when they themselves do not even have a democracy, they have a republic which shows strong democratic leaning but that is all.

People used to think that the world was flat until they were proven wrong, just like communism was seen as realistic altenative to capitalism, but we can learn from history this is clealy not the case. Not really, everyone is equal but it's only fair that those who need something get it ahead of others who don't (if you get me). We adhere to Marx's greatest principle: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

I would disagree, maybe they are not applicable to a country such as the UK, USA or Australia as those countries are MEDCs with advanced service industries and only a very small amount of their economies are based on manual labour and manufacturing.

However, communism is very applicable to LEDCs where children, women and men alike are exploited by large TNCs such as Nike and Adidas in poor conditions and sweatshops. Hopefully, in the near future, a true communist government will be set up in one of these countries, unfortunately it is unlikely.

And anyway, erep is a lot different from RL. The economy is a lot simpler due to lack of industries, product differentiation etc. and it's incredibly easy to install true communism on here.

How exactly do you "needs base" wages?
Worker A is level 4 in land and earns 5 AUD
Worker B is level 3 in land and Earns 3.5 AUD

Both work for a Q2 company, should worker B be given a pay rise equal to Worker A since his wellness will drop at the same amount worker A will but he has less money to spend on food even though Worker A produces more and is there for more valuable?

In regards to wages: those who work in higher quality industries get larger wages so as to afford higher quality food. Another alternative is that we could have everyone on the same wage and donate to the workers what they need.

I am interested in your party however, I have a few concerns. At what price will individual liberty be subjected to party discipline. Even in the 1st and 2nd Internationale discipline was required.

What is the relationship of the communist party to sustainability and green issues?

And finally, what are the key texts for your party? Do you factor the idea of the party around a soviet model or as more as an anarcho-syndicalist model? Do you see any tensions emerging between the far left wing...

Finally, it was Stalin who pursued 'socialism in one country' - others see the need for an anarcho-syndicalist-sustainable-communitarian structure as applying to the whole world...

You still have not addressed how you base “need”.

Basically the wage you get is how much you need to keep your wellness at a constant high (that's how I see it), so those in higher quality companies need higher wages to afford higher quality food. Also, those who work in higher quality companies need houses for wellness purposes, they won't have to pay for the houses as they will be state produced and donated to them on a 'need' basis - i.e can they survive without one for long.

In terms of moving tickets - well if you want one to get away from horrible, commie eAus then we'll get you one. Weapons - there'll be a state run army but the way I view it is that private citizens can ask the government for guns - plus it doesn't matter whether you would be fighting against the communist militia in some war - we are libertarian and you are free to fight who you want, go where you want and vote who you want. Citizens won't need gifts as the state will use them to boost wellness of those who are waiting for a house or have returned from a war etc.

Being more productive has nothing to do with it. I have 10.21 manufacturing skill but if I work in a q2 company and a 7.85 worker works in a q5 company he will get higher quality food and would get priority for houses - purely because he needs it to maintain a high level of wellness.
