Join the new world

Members of the Australian National Party, the time for Party elections has come again; you must go back to the polls and cast your vote for who you feel would best lead our successful party. I’ve seen that Richie is already actively campaigning; I wish him the best of luck in the coming elections. However, it is time to give my plank for Party President. I do hope I can keep it relatively short.

First, I would like to speak of the past. Just one month ago the Australian National Party was being mocked for creating a center-right party. But, together as a Party, we overcame all of the odds and are now the largest party in Congress and the second largest Party in Australia. Under my leadership we have established ourselves as a legitimate party that people respect and take seriously. We have created forums that, although not the most active, have become more active within recent weeks when I sent out a mass message reminding people to join them. I have proven my leadership skills, and its effects are obvious, as our party has grown and prospered over the last month. Yes, I lost during the Prime Ministerial elections, but that was expected since Cottus had the support of his own party and the other major party. Within the past week I have officially created the cabinet for the ANP, creating a bit of order to help guide and manage the party.

Now, for the future. This past month we have not stayed completely true to our center right agenda, but this has not been because we have forgotten it or have moved away from it. It is because we accepted the fact that were certain things that needed to be done to make sure that the economy of Australia did not fail. But, with the economy stabilized, and things getting better, it is time for us to buckle down and make sure that things do not drift too far left. People must be able to make personal gains and not let the government be able to tell them where to work or what to do.

I plan for the Australian National Party to have a Constitution. I am currently in the process of creating our party’s Constitution. This Constitution will show the powers of each of those within a given administration. It will ensure the rights of all members of the ANP. It will point out what we believe in and what we don’t. It will show what will happen in any given situation. How to amend it, what happens when a PP is impeached, etc. I will be giving it to my cabinet for ratification, then to the rest of the members on our forums for their review. This way all can be involved in helping make our party even better.

I plan for our party to become the rival of the ADSP. The ANP, under my continued leadership, will expand and progress to even greater heights. It will lead Australia one day. I promise you that!
