The Nationalist Party - The Beginnings to Today.

Team Ramrod
The Nationalist Party, or the Ramrod coalition, was once nothing more than a mere thought. It happened on the IRC on day, while William Shafer, Kyle321n, and I were messing around. We decided to form a political coalition of some-what similar minds, coming from the LiB , RFC, and the AAP, respectively. Eventually, the idea came up to actually make the Ramrod coalition come to life. So Will and I gathered enough gold together in Kyle's absence to create a party. Team Ramrod. In a few days we quickly grew, eventually to attract 2 congressman, 3 if Will, who never actually joined the party, counts. Obviously, we stared to attract the attention on others. Will was in a never-ending clash with the USWP. But, although we had gained a enemy, we had easily come over all obstacles in our way, with the help of our active members. We got a rough forum together, to discuss and draft different "manifestos". After much criticism, we had finally completed it. And began the mad dash to what we are today.
The Nationalists are born
"Team Ramrod", although an awesome name, was getting us to be taken seriously by a party. We had to think of another name. None particularly stood out to be amongst the few names we had though up. But Nationalist seemed it sum it up well, and was the most popular out of any of them. We found a logo that seemed more fitting than our monkey flipping people off, although it was pretty classy. And so the transformation to the Nationalist Party began.
Strong Beginnings
By this time, the Nationalist Party had started passing most the bigger non-top 5 parties. It was just the Yellow Party, and Dems standing in our way. So, after yelling out go recruit many, many times, in the IRC, we had around 5 people recruiting at once. This paid off in a very short time. We leaped over the YP and had another large step ahead of us, but that wasn't very worrying for me. We had made it this far in such a short amount of time? Why should we stop now? With the PP elections coming up, I wasn't too worried honestly. And it turned out that I was right. But, I had set some goals, goals that I still intend on completing, and surpassing.
"- Pass the Democrats before New Year's Day. I know
that we can this, we just have to put some effort in in, something we have never had a problem with.
- Keep at the least, one of our congress members. As you all should know by now, we can not have congressional candidates. So, we either need to ask a party/parties to host a few of our candidates if they have nobody running there. Or, as an alternative, recruit a congress member.
- Set up the next PP, whether it will be me, or not, to take a place in the top 5 the following month. We should be close to that number needed if we continue to grow like this.
- Re-vamp the party forums, maybe even get a new one."
Falling out
Things were seemingly great, until of our original leaders, William Shafer, leaves for Russia. I had not seem this coming, and honestly forgot he mentioned it. With Kyle still gone, I was little more than helpless at the time. I could just hope that no members followed him, and that Kyle would come back soon. After I thought it out, I decided to was time to look for a competent member to help out, maybe even become Will's replacement. With Will gone, that meant a major change, but a chance to re-think things. With Will off to Russia, the strong voice of the war was gone. But that wasn't something to think about now.
Congress
With Congress approaching, I present to you, the Congressional candidates of Nationalist Party.

We have caught up to within one member of the Democratic Party. This is one of the goals I made, and we're sure as hell gonna make it. And trust me, we're gonna be coming out swingin' when Congressional elections run by. Expect to see us down in Washington.

Amazing article!! Really shows all the dedication that you have put into this.
This article is phenomenal! Believe it or not, but even with Will and a couple of our members leaving, we will only come out stronger. We stand for all that is right and good in the eWorld. RAMROD, or Ream Americans Making Real Outstanding Decisions, has always stood for helping and making eUSA the best, strongest and smartest country ever. I disagree with many Nationalist Party principles, but I do think it's nice when a citizen puts together a comprehensive history of some aspect of eRepublik. Histories improve the game and make it easier for newcomers to understand where everyone is coming from.

Omg, we are awesome, no joke. number 6? thats great. Im going to be started a lot of recruiting for the NP. Hopefully we will eventually get in the top 5
Great article Nathan. This really makes me proud to be a member of the NP.
Hopefully, your candidates will be on the ballot come Christmas... I was hesitant to encourage Federalists to run under our ticket because of the Top 5 party rule and last time, we were able to propose candidates under our ticket but they didn't appear on the ballot. The admins never gave any clear indication that the rules changed. Hopefully, come Christmas you all will appear on the ballot because this will certain be a waste if you don't.
