I awoke today to see the alert that I had become president and literally exulted. The few weeks of hard campaigning paid off, and I can only be so appreciative of my supporters. Time, Justinious, Blindness, Richard Cranium, Rise, Dobo, and their respective parties are citizens that I would like to thanks specifically for their wonderful assistance.

This, if you haven't been counting (But I know that secretly you all have been) is my 100th article. 100! I don't know about you, but that's a LOT of articles. I think that only a handful of citizens in erepublik have broken this mark - it was one of my goals for V1 back in Beta. I am completely content with my subscriber base and want to extend my gratitude to all of my active readers.

Also, it is Uncle Sam's birthday.

Getting down to business

Congress, I will say this once and only once. Please do NOT propose anything without discussing it first. Congress can discuss what is proposed here: http://erepublikusa.com/forums/index.php?board=8.0 ... I am ashamed to say that our congress within the first month of erepublik has proposed way too many insignificant changes, and we still have plenty of ground to cover to get the taxes that we really want. Feel free to make a new thread in the above mentioned Legislative board, BEFORE making a proposal.

Cabinet

I would like to say that I look forward to this presidency. I plan on giving 110% effort. I will, as said in my campaign, eat, sleep, and LIVE erepublik (Dio-O's?). I will advance our relations world-wide, make things a better living environment for our citizens, and work my best to communicate with nation through both this newspaper (Subscribe if you haven't) and the eUS forums if you have not registered (http://erepublikusa.com/forums/index.php).

To everybody - godspeed with the messed up economy. I am doing everything in my power to help out.
