RFC Name Change Vote

Yesterday we held the first RFC convention. The turnout was a bit disappointing but it wasn't unexpected with the short notice I gave and the switch into V1. We are going to do alot of work on recruiting in the next few days and campaigning to get congress seats. I have just appointed Harry Callahan as the campaign adviser so he will be working with our candidates. If you would like to be a candidate or have your name removed please post here and I will change it. I am not sure if this next genereal election will be head to head for congress or if it will be like it always has where people vote for the party and the top members get in so here are the congressional candidates from the top down.

Also from the convention I have gathered several suggestions for a new name and I have decided to leave it up to the party in a vote. Polls will be open for all of today and tomorrow before closing, if it is close and we have less then 30 votes then I may extend the poll. Here are the current standings

My vote is 2 and if it gets changed to Jedi Council, I am quitting this political party.

I have talked to at least three people that are willing to join our party. Please don't let it be something stupid and not representative of everyone in the party.

While I am not a part of this party, I'd like to inquire whether or not number 3 is serious. (I still think your party name is kick butt and Republican party is too RL, though there is a Democratic party). Anyways...None of what I say counts...so...good luck 🙂
