Spanish Government condemns Pakistan // Condena del Gobierno de España a Pakistán

Due to the recent events between Pakistan and Spain, in which we have seen prominent Pakistani citizens openly insulting Spanish citizens and our nation, because Spanish citizen declare freely that they don't believe in Dio Brando, the Spanish Government condemns the Pakistani government and consider it as an enemy of the interests of our nation.

The Spanish Government considers that the freedom of speech as well as the freedom of religion are undeniable principles to any democratic state, and that these principles are systematically violated by Pakistan by insulting anyone that, exercising these freedoms, declare not to believe that Dio Brando is a God.

The Spanish Government declares itself lay, because there's no existing religious belief attached to our government and we consider this essential for the development of a free democracy. Any Spanish citizen can have whatever religious faith he or she wishes, or not have any at all.

The Spanish Government considers Pakistan as a threat to the interests of our nation and therefore support all measures aimed at pressuring the Pakistani Government to ensure that the government of this country changes its attitude and accept the freedoms mentioned above.

The same way, the Spanish Government advises Spanish citizens not to travel to Pakistan and Spanish general managers not to have commercial treaties with the mentioned country.

The Spanish Government considers that any country that has any kind of relations with Pakistan is supporting a government that violates the freedom of speech and the freedom of religion, and will act accordingly to such support, in order to guarantee the respect to these freedoms.

Dados los recientes acontecimientos entre Pakistán y España, en los que hemos podido ver eminentes ciudadanos pakistaníes insultar abiertamente a ciudadanos españoles y a nuestra nación, por declarar de forma libre que no creen en Dio Brando, el Gobierno de España condena el gobierno de Pakistán y lo considera enemigo de los intereses de nuestra nación.

El Gobierno de España considera que tanto la libertad de expresión como la libertad religiosa son principios innegables a cualquier estado democrático, y que estos principios son violados sistemáticamente por Pakistán al insultar a todos aquellos que, ejerciendo estas libertades, declaran no creer que Dio Brando sea una divinidad.

El Gobierno de España se declara aconfesional, pues no existe ninguna creencia religiosa ligada a nuestro gobierno ni estamentos y consideramos que esto es fundamental para el desarrollo libre de la democracia. Así, cualquier español puede profesar la fe que desee o no profesar fe religiosa alguna.

El Gobierno de España considera a Pakistán como una amenaza para los intereses de nuestra nación por lo que apoyara todo tipo de medidas orientadas a presionar al gobierno con el fin de que el gobierno de este país cambie su actitud y acepten las libertades fundamentales anteriormente mencionadas.

Del mismo modo, el Gobierno de España desaconseja a sus ciudadanos desplazarse hasta Pakistán y a sus empresarios a mantener tratos con dicho país.

El Gobierno de España considera que todo país que mantenga tratos con Pakistán está dando apoyo a un gobierno que viola la libertad de expresión y la libertad religiosa, y actuará en consecuencia a dicho apoyo, buscando garantizar el respeto a estas libertades.
