Excellent idea - but what I am wondering is how are these hackers getting onto people\'s profiles? If they have some sort of coding ability or program that allows them to access peoples\' profiles couldn\'t determined hackers get into all the S.Os that are set up?

Its just like a lockdown in school.

You hope that by splitting and keeping kids out of sight, then they will just be to much of a hassle to go after.

Well first I think it is important to know how the hackers are hacking - are the exploiting insecure passwords, manipulating the coding of the game manually to let them in, or do they have some sort of program that figures out passwords.

In the case of the third I would think this plan would fail, but at least its a start.

If it is the third case, we\'d be screwed either way. In this case they\'d have to first figure out how many accounts have recieved the money, which accounts they are, and how to break into them. If they hack into the only obvious account, (mine) the worst they would be able to secure is the gold in our treasury, leaving our stores of CAD and the vast majority of our Gold safe.

Whoever theses assholes are in order to prevent them from hacking anyone else everyone should change their passwords and not tell anyone. Don\'t use your birthday or social. Use a combinations of numbers and letters to throw off would be hackers.

As most IT security professionals would tell you, using an obvious password and having someone figure it out is not \'being hacked\' - it\'s one person taking advantage of another\'s foolishness. I never choose a password shorter than eight characters unless forced, and I almost always choose a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

As an example, one could use \'Mykitty!$aw3som3\' and that would be pretty damn difficult to guess.

I suspect that the problem is simple passwords.

If they\'re using a code cant the admins track it? it would be the same for all the accounts hacked, so it should be easy to follow... But for now I like Adams course of action.
