Currently, congressional quorum is set to 25; this means that there must be 25 votes in order for a bill to be passed through the house. A list of the active senators who signed in to create this number can be found here.

A feature we will be including in this paper is a section where congress members will be able to directly communicate why they voted the way they did on certain issues, hopefully allowing average eAmericans to get a better idea of congress’ thinking behind decisions taken.

Our first of these segments will focus on the recent income tax increase in the diamond industry.
The Senator who proposed this legislation is Dan Wang (UIP – Tibet) and he submitted a brief paragraph on why he supported this action:

“I proposed this bill because domestic workers in an industry without a high-resource region(explanation of raw material productivities) are inherently less productive than they would in other industries. Despite the lack of productivity, numerous diamond companies are operated within the United States (Diamond company listings) and despite all conventional business reasoning. Higher income taxes in specific discourage citizens from working there and direct them elsewhere if properly notified, which I have done by mass-messaging the entire diamond work-force. One of the worries was that those who didn't know better would be trapped in low income, but the recent government take-over of the Skill 0 job market (article discussing government job hubs) effectively prevents new players from being adversely affected by the change.”

Due to time constraints (SoH note; I wanted this published, and labour was limited for this issue) we were unable to get a dissenting opinion but we hope to publish both sides of issues in the future.
