I am running for the position of Country President.

Faced with obscurity, eIreland has lashed out at it's ill perceived enemies, titan eNations that absolutely dwarf us. Fourth from the bottom of the country rankings I reckon it's just sheer physics. Something had to happen.

Herein this proud nation live both the best spoken in the English language playing this browser game, and the worst.

The Phoenix comes to mind, a long issued standard handed down to rl rebellions to keep Ireland afloat when all seemed lost. "Not free merely, but Gaelic as well; not Gaelic merely, but free as well." to quote the late great Padraig Pearse.

Our overseas friends have every right to be furious at our seemingly thoughtless manoeuvres as of late but keep in mind, there's only about thirty or so active players wearing the Irish Tricolour that play regularly.

As CP I hope to foster alliances with eNations that share common goals. Fair open democracy and a co-ordinated effort to combat blatant tyranny. Lofty goals to be sure, to be sure, but not unreachable. Our common heritage, our shared tongue should be exalted beyond rl historical rivalries. Together, we can burst out of the ashes, a Phoenix reborn anew.
