[State] Decoding the Way Forward
Department of State
Greetings once more America, hope your weekend was good. The Government has had a hectic week as you can tell from all the media activity. The pace of my article writing has also slowed down, so I extend my regrets for that. Stuff happens in life, and with the re-opening I’ve been slammed at work. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Still, I shouldn’t make excuses, so here is some official government media as this administration has promised. First off, I would like to thank King Taco for the new State Department graphics. He’s been doing an amazing job behind the scenes and you should hop on over to his DoI website, now with updated battle orders and full service taco bar.
As a point of order, all Congress members are instructed to please vote down the proposal from the PACIFICA Alliance to join. We realize it’s tempting but at this point we have not had proper discussions as to a possible direction we wish to take. Whether the proposal was serious or not, we are humbled to be thought of by the former alliance that we co-founded. Now is not the right time to take such a decision however. We still have four months left in our six month non aggression pact with ASTERIA and we will use that time to ponder our next move.
At this point we will remain in a state of neutrality and continue the training war process as usual. As you are aware, we have recently left the CODE Alliance. Contrary to popular thought, there was no big, behind the scenes conspiracy to do so. A number of issues became apparent over the course of months that led us into an untenable position. With no malice of forethought we have come to the stark realization that CODE no longer has the wherewithal to be a viable long term option for us. The explanations have been given in previous articles from the Executive, so we will not retread. The question was not if, but rather when. By making an exit now we have time to deliberate on an official position before the end of our NAP. Today is not the day to make that decision however, so we must respectfully decline the overture from PACIFICA.
Being neutral does not mean that we are in league with anyone. Of course, we will continue to work with ASTERIA to ensure that we have stability for as long as possible. That means providing you with our full range of economic bonuses for the production of your companies, no threat of invasion and a stable of regular training wars to allow you to rank up and farm gold. In four months, we will have another sit down with them, but we do not know what the future looks like beyond that. Asteria has kept up their end of the bargain thus far and we thank them for it, now let’s keep up our end and move forward together.
Just before I sign off, I just want to tell you to be on the lookout for the next edition. We will be featuring an interview with the former CP of Serbia, so hit the subscribe button and don’t miss it. He has some interesting things to say for sure. Also be on the lookout for some official government media concerning a new summer event we will be rolling out soon.
Yours Truly, MoFA PimpDollaz

Leaving the alliance when there is no real path where to go seems not that wise. Our nation is not a powerhouse and it needs real friends I think. Now some nations are alienated and I don't think real friends are being found that easily. I think a good process of leaving CODE had to be taken beforehand.
Bridges burning to every direction. Way to go!
Maybe burning some bridges but those said bridges were booby trapped by our allegedly allies..
I like boobies, trapped or not
Countries will stand in line for your resources in four months.
With what army?1
Is any army required?
Is this going on record as a threat from a CODE nation (based on your affiliation with the executive of Croatia)? Just want to clarify. Interesting how other countries leave CODE and it is not treated as a big deal, but when the eUSA does it is a big hullabaloo.
I'm just making my prediction on how things are going to play out.
When other countries left CODE, they've decided to take the honest approach, they addressed things in the alliance for months, they tried to fix flaws. USA made up stuff and said they're leaving. Or do you really think this is a big, evil plot against the glorious United States?
I am just questioning your objectivity, as well as your position of power within CODE as having impact on your judgement.
Basically, I am saying you are mad.
Calling me mad for stating the facts isn't really the way you're gonna win any argument buddy..
I don't think you are actually providing any facts though.
lolk
I take your concession, thank you.
dope.

After nap
They will leave then CODE will invade us
Very nice
We are at war with Eastasia. We have always been at war with Eastasia.
heh, it’s not 1984
I think this sends the wrong message. There should be a public message and an internal dialogue. Right now we're letting the internal dialogue spill out and it gives the impression we're fully planning on withdrawing in four months.
We should be committing to our current alliance, regardless of any "four months/NAP" timeline. Any other message looks like we're doing typical eUSA bullshit.
Piggy, we’re not in Code anymore. Unless you mean withdrawing from the NAP?
Nope. Apologies, I must have missed this tidbit. I'll go back to sleep for a bit.
