Update to the Corona Virus
KoKo Elephant
Dear fellow citizens,
Today I would like to give you an update on the Corona Virus in Switzerland.
In total, we now have 26 thousand 732 hundred infected. Unfortunately, 1,281 thousand people have already died.
But luckily the curve goes down again.
With us, shops and service providers may open again soon. Universities and young students who are still under the tenth grade will soon be allowed to return to their premises.
I think my family and I are very lucky that nothing has happened yet. We are also lucky to live in Switzerland and still be allowed to go out. This is not a matter of course, since many people are not lucky, but rather have to be locked up at home.
I hope that you are all well and that you and your families stay well.
Bye for now
Konstantin Volm

About the 1,281 thousand people died it could be interesting to see if they died with only corona virus, corona virus +1 disease, corona virus + 2 disease, corona virus +3 diseas. Also it could be interested to know how many people died last year for respirstory disease.
My mother works in Switzerland as a medical doctor. She sais, that most of the people do not really die because of the virus, it was only the last thing, that they had. Most of the people had minimum of one disease or more. It is like the influenza virus, the people do not die only because of the virus, the virus is just the last step to death.
But sure, when the people are older, they are getting more diseases so they have more risk than healthy and young people.
for this reason I imagine that also the average age of the deads is 80+
The problem is not really the disease which is triggered by the virus. The bigger problem will be to have other diseases and then get infected with the virus.
I think the reason why it is so dangerous, is that it is a lung disease.
For example: If someone has AIDS or Cancer, his immune system will be weak in the end phase of the disease. A lot of people with such diseases die because of they get a pneumonia.
This is the problem with corona: Often, it causes a pneumonia. Additionally to the diseases you have before, this can be lethal.
Of course, also healthy people can get a critical pneumonia. But this is just a minority.
Best of wishes. In Argentina we stayed at home. So far we had 122 deaths. We will stay indoors til 26th April. We will see after that. Possibly another fortnight lock up...and so on.
I hope that you are doing good and that you are staying safe.
Yes I am thank you 💚
wish you all be safe and all the peoples from Argantina to Australia defeated this Disaster soon
For you too !
Stay safe Konstantin!
Here in Greece we have 105 deaths from the virus, 89,5% were virus+disease and 2207 confirmed infected. The average age of those who died is 73 years. 56,3% of the infected are men. 33 patients have exited the ICU.
All forms of education, private and state schools, universities etc, are closed and expect to open on May. Churches are also closed and any form of religious ceremonies (funerals) are behind closed doors. Only shops with food (markets, takeaway) and supplies (such as gas stations) are open, all the other are closed.
We are on a voluntary quarantine in our houses and stay indoors for days. We only go out in order to make our grocery shopping or visit the doctor or exercise.
Fortunatelly, the curve stays down.
Ok, that’s good. I hope that you’re curve stays down the next week. Thank you for the informations!
I hope the same for you!
Stay safe and a big thank you to your mother! Doctors are now our heroes!

Also Turkey is going to be similar with Italy. The goverment had just started lockdown in weekends for 31 major cities.
Ethiopia is in locked down. 3 died. 97 infected. Out of 100 million people. But testing is lacking majorly here sadly. Stay safe everyone.
