The unsolved mystery of eRepublik!

Day 4,520, 10:24 Published in Lithuania Lithuania by Dragan Ampovski

Hello all,

2020 has been a hell of a year, both in real life and in-game. Why in-game? Recently admins have gone into a frenzy and banned a lot of accounts on both sides, both real and multies. We also had cases where they permanently banned 2 players but later on unbanned them under unclear circumstances.

Anyways I wanted to write about a specific topic. I recently found out that Romper was allowed to open account for his children, few years ago so I wanted to ask admins if that's legal:

his kids accounts:
https://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/7853475
https://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/8844952

I scrolled through eRepublick's Terms of Service and found out a few breaches that were done in that case.

number 1
-Under the condition 4 in section 4, "ACCESSING OUR WEBSITE, CONTENT AND SERVICE" admins have said the following:

"You must be over 16 years old to use the Website and/or the eRepublik.com Service."

In the world people count age since their birth, so no matter that Romper is a hard visa player, he can't give a birth to a 16 years old child.

number 2
- First condition from section 3, "REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT SECURITY"

"You may only open one Citizen account on the Website."

Which was clearly broken by the above mentioned player.

So having that in mind I thought that I can't open an account to my kids but I still decided to ask. The answer was, as expected, negative. My friends also said they had negative answers.

So the question Why was/is Romper allowed to make accounts, and we were/are not? remains a mystery.

Has the past administrators made a mistake, allowing him to create multiple accounts, that should be corrected?

So dear admins,we know you are busy with improving the game and trying to make it a better eWorld for all, but please find time and close this case. Fix the mistake that was done in the past, or update your terms of service and allow us also to make accounts to our family members. We are all equal, we all click the same buttons everyday.

Thank you for reading and have a good week ahead!
