[MoF] Budget for November 2019
Ministerie van Economische Zak
Greetings, citizens of Netherlands,
we bring you a short overview of the budget for this month. More details, as usual, can be found in the Finance Sheet.
The budget for this month is 2,162,509 currency and 352.5 Gold, based on the income from previous month. The income can be divided into following categories:
- Tax income: Adding all taxes combined together, our tax income last month has been 469,875 currency + 72.5 Gold from Congress and CP Tax.
- Donations: 1,439,999 cc and 280 Gold have been received as a donation to Treasury, mostly thanks to the Tim Veltkamp (and AS repayment). Since we need monetary support for excepted higher spendings during motnh of eRep anniversary, we would like to thank him for this generous contribution.
- Concession payment: The concession payment was 252,635 currency. We will probably be seeing much lower number there in the next few months.
- Monetary Market gains: During this term, we have decided to not pull money from Monetary Market, due to income expectations by selling Gold for increased prices during Black Friday.
The graphical development of our budget and its individual parts for year 2019 can be found below. Note that the Gold income is not added there.

Wooaah amazing budget!
Nice graph, man.

Budgets are still rising. Maybe time for another debate on removing Congress Tax 😛
The only reason the budget is this high is because of irresponsible use of a donation. instead of conserving it for multiple months since income is dropping.
@ElGorro
Rising budgets are one thing, rising tax income is another. We can only lower taxes, if we have high tax income. And even though we do OK now, the situation is quite far from the point, when I would be persuaded to debate upon any tax removals.
@odan
So you say your own party member is irresponsible for donating the money to the government?
That's a new low.
If the donation will not be used (and it is expected majority of it won't be used), all remnants of it will go either to MoD org for future months spendings (=less budget for MoD necessary in the future), or to MM orgs (if they will need it instead to generate more profit). Do not worry, we will not stash money on some unused orgs, or waste in randomly, like some of my predecessor and your friends did 🙂 !
But I guess MoNC season is incoming again, so feel free to disregard all of the explanation given here, so you can make your claims easier by presenting incomplete facts (again).
Blah blah, one time it is irresponsible use, other time it is unjustified because you no longer are eligible for subsidy due to striking inactivity. Pick one. The Governments since you and your friends were removed from power have both saved millions upon millions and still provided millions of aid. And we're not stupid enough to hide that donation from the Dutch people in a shady organization, nor will it be fully used this term (you can quote me on that).
I wouldn't talk about saving millions and millions - all in all, it is mostly Gold, and that you can only count in thousands here in eNL 😛 . Either way, as in all previous months during my tenure on the ministry, all expenses and transactions will be recorded in understandable manner, and we will definitely not overstep the usual budgets (counting aside the already Congress-approved spendings on Black Friday, which will boost our expenses by quite a lot, of course) without limiting our active citizens from getting the subsidies they deserve for their hard work. Something, we could have only dream about year(s) ago.
On terms of financial reforms, I would be cautious, since the end goal will... take more time than it took until now, as each stephas more and more impact for sure, and the inflation is sort-of dead now... however we will closely monitor the tax income and market after the Black Friday, and hopefully all those newly built companies will be used to generate both profit and goods for us all. Also, let's not forget, admitting new players in our society, something certain groups fight against with blacklists or racial hatred, helped to boost our tax income, and therefore our ability to help the citizens. So that is also a way, how to help our economy without any (atleast financial) reform on its own 🙂
I think some time after ''Black Friday'' we can consider some ''financial reforms'' again, especially if we have reliable concession partners again. End goal would be eventually for example only a 1% Work Tax without hurting any of the activities we currently engage in.
Lowering WT? You start to sound like Janty.
