Hello eIreland,

As part of my duties as a elected Congressman of the Irish Parliment, I am commitment to open politics, so I would like to present to you a law proposal put forward in congress by the myself, the Honourable Congressman Rusty D. This law, which can be proposed in game by any of our Congress Members, is for a Presidential Impeachment of our current AWOL CP Slu.

As some of you might realise, from either being in the Congress Thread, reading in the Irish Shout box or even from the gossip around the eOffice water cooler, our current CP Slu, has gone in-active.

I will not go into some of the things that happened beforehand or after it, that have been attributed to him, as this is irrelevant for the Impeachment. The impeachment is in parliament to be voted on, for the sole fact, eIreland has no formal acting government, no formal leadership group (only those in congress) and is now lacking some voting powers due to game mechanics only allowing the CP to propose some laws.

Yes we will have general elections in a few days, but in my own and in the opinion of others in Congress, it is better to get control of SS eIreland and ensure we can set her back on a safe course for the future CP, rather then continue to have it flounder ever closer to running aground.




When looking at this law proposal, we can break it down into Pro's and Con's to it. Here are some of the Pro's:

- Removing an inactive CP.
- Allowing eIreland full access to law propsoals.
- Allowing a new Official Leadership Group to represent eIreland.
- Allowing eIreland to get back on course for the upcoming CP elections.
- To reestablish a sense of unity in our nation.
- To show our allies and our friends that we are untied.
- To show the eWorld that we are not Leaderless.



- Removal of a sitting CP is not to be underestimated/misused.
- CP Slu might have a change of heart and come back (he has vocally stepped down and been absent for 1 week and counting).
- Public advertising the fact we are Leaderless (it is pretty well known anyway).
- The "Why bother when the elections are a few days away?" argument.
- Wash over what Slu has done for eIreland (I am in no way trying to blacken his long record of good for eIreland, just trying to help get eIreland back on course).




This action will show the eWorld that we are under proper governess and our country is still moving forward. That we can continue to work strongly with our allied partners, ensuring that they have a government to work with.

I ask my fellow congress members (who have spoken about this act for the past few days) to support this law proposal, I ask the citizens of eIreland to speak up here in the comments in support, lobby your congress members. And as always, if you have questions, please ask them.
