Whats the Point?
CGMK
When I started playing this game I wast told that I could live anywhere in the world. Sure, sign me up. Then I get here and find there is no Puerto Rico. That't fine I'll just go for my current state of residence but, when I try to go there I found out it was taken by another country. So I settled for Louisiana, started working on building companies, life was good until I found out that a deal was made to let Thailand play the ol'swithcharoo with that state. Basically we let them take it then they let us take it back. Ok, I get it, we can benefit from the resistance wars. So I'm thinking maybe I should move my companies to the capital thinking that they will be safe there. But no, I found out today that Washington was taken by Saudi Arabia, now what? Maybe I'm not getting the big picture, can someone please explain to me why can we chose a state, make it the capital, and defend it against all attacks? 1 state to be a safe haven for those who have companies. That will leave 49 other states to play switcharoo with other countries.

move your companies to the most secured region : cork
1 state = pollution
this will not happen
How does everyone being on 1 state affect the players?
More companies > more pollution.
However it doesnt matter if its max bonus region as those are still at 193% bonus even with max pollution.
We have enemies who want our regions, and they also want to humiliate us. So some of the region swapping is a complicated shell game to keep regions out of reach of enemies. The only way of gaining stability is by getting stronger. It's a process. Every day you train, the country gets stronger. Every day you gain rank, the country gets stronger.
Gaining power is good, but the problem is that the enemy is gaining power as well. Isn't there a plan? I'm trying to stay far from politics but would like to see what the ones that do take those roles do.
I'm not in congress, and have no idea what goes on, but the plan seems pretty obvious: do the best we can to get by, frustrate our enemies as much as we can, support our friends as best we can, and try to build a community so that people stick around and pitch in. It is possible a diplomatic breakthrough comes; it is also possible our enemies' alliance breaks (has happened before several times in this game), but short of that, it's slow process. Log in. Work. Train. Look for ways to make money to strengthen yourself,. Find ways to interact with people that interest you. Everything about this game is about attrition and patience.
If you think there is some instant solution to this, you will get frustrated and quit, because there isn't. Many countries in this game have been occupied for the majority of their existence. I cannot remember a time Australia wasn't occupied, in whole or in part, for example. And yet they have a small core of people who soldier on.
There is a plan. It's not my responsibility but it's important to remember that there are many opponents coordinating at our expense just like we're trying to do with our allies. This isn't just about the eUSA, it's about several countries and a global struggle.
FWIW I have two holding companies both in foreign countries. I don't have the CC to create another and move my RM companies and food/weapons factories. Last time I did that it was a freaking small fortune.
This is no longer a game where things can change in a week or even a month. It's a very long-term game now.
Anyway, it's my goal to make sure the current admin has plenty of articles explaining things. We'll see if I'm successful with that.
CGMK - George Baker has a good handle on the situation. Fight daily in air, comment on the national wall for goodies, and get stronger.
No region is "safe" from being conquered by friendly, or by hostile enemies. How many companies do you have? Is it worth it to move out of a region? I would say, get your goodies which should be enough to sustain you, and just work as manager when controlled by USA.
the more battles, the more gold that can be earned by our players. The battles that we have right now, are mostly with friendlies, so we both gain by doing this.
We still have Serbia / Romania and Bulgaria, but time will tell what happens. We need to grow stronger if we want a chance.
That't one of the questions I had, I was thinking on moving them to the capital but the capital was taken. So I guess that answers my question. No region is safe, got it. Is there a remote way of keeping 1 state protected? Someone mentioned pollution but I do not understand what that means. Sorry for the many questions, just trying to understand. I been hearing focus on growing for over two years now, seems like there is a lot in common with their mobile games. Just don't want to waste time on an unreachable goal.
Against stronger enemies who have the money and capacity to do air strikes there is no foolproof way to keep any region 100% safe. If you check the link to the wiki at the bottom of the page you can find all manner of information on this game. There you can find out about pollution. If I remember correctly it has to do with the number of companies producing in a region per day, but I could be wrong. Lastly, don't worry about asking questions, it's a good way to learn and we're here to help

Adding Puerto Rico is a great idea.
Add Costa Rica!!!!
I submitted a ticket to eRepublik Labs, basically there isn't enough interest for them to put it in the map. I was going to try and build support for it, but I got too many things going on right now.
Puerto Rico all the way.
add africa
all of the countries ;3
like i said
pollution is bad since your region pollution increase your production decrease
being in 1 region will harm every one.
every one will race to work as manager before the other.
it would be a mess
so we prefer you go to another country with secured regions for your business
also it seems you don't know much of economy or politics * i don't mean to offend*
so you better ask whoever have experience in this field ,
alias12 https://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/7352302
is a fellow american in ireland he would help you with your companies since he has experience in economy field ,
but i prefer 2 places
nevada serbia
cork ireland
Thank you
i own about 10 holding companies. All but three have companies i'm not using. ONE was a mistake but it adds to my job market appearances.[for lower wages]
Currently have 2 house holdings in US, 1 in Australia, which is forever without a capital. Florida and Washington alternately productive... i split companies between them.
i have a weapon company or 5 in the Azores for free weapons. The ONLY other self producing you can do is food in Nebraska and DC[mine;s in Cuba]. Though low q food just went up, i doubt i will EVER try to produce it.
As CARLOS SAYS... ALWAYS fight AIR... rank up faster although it's too crowded, now, due to the big gold for AH.
but... the eUSA needs, badly, more air power.
