[eUSA CP] - Executive Update - Its been too long

My fellow eUSA citizens,

Welcome to another edition of the Executive Update, where we try to let you know as much as we can of what is going on, so that you are not left out of the dark. Apologies for not updating you via articles until now. I lost power last weekend due to a foot of snow in Kansas (we are expecting another half foot tonight) and we have had a World War that we have been a part of that has taken TONS of my time.

Weekly National Strikes


One of the things I wanted to do this term was to bring back national strikes. I am actually writing this article as we are in the middle of one right now vs MKD in Washington.



Feels good to have the walls on our side right? I want our community to do these more often, and get used to fighting together against our opponents. The more we do this, the more chances we have of getting out of this mess.

Ground National Strikes

Tuesdays @ 1:00 (Epic D1) - For Maverick Packs and D1 players
Tuesdays @ 17:30 for Everyone
Thursday @ 17:30 for Everyone

Air National Strikes

Tuesdays @ 22:00
Wednesdays @ 12:00 w/ Ireland
Thursdays @ 22:00
Sundays @ 12:00 w/ Ireland

Look for Location and Time on the National Feed as it will be dependent on whats available and where we are hitting. Times may vary, but try to be full of your ff's during that time frame.

World War 2019

Well 2019 started with a blast. ASTERIA declared War on Chile after their Non Aggression Pact (NAP) ended on January 5th. You may ask, why did a year long NAP between Serbia, Chile and Argentina end? Well they were hanging in the USA helping us out... and ASTERIA wanted their regions. Chile has been kicked out by Romania and Bulgaria (even though Greece did intervene and tried to slow them down). Argentina will be next.

All hell broke loose though, and even though ASTERIA succeeded in their goal, they paid a heavy price world wide. Romania specifically. They were kicked out of many of their colonies in the process.

USA had a small part, mostly helping with drain so that our other allies could prevail around the eWorld. For those that do not know who our allies are, in no particular order:

Greece, Chile, Argentina, Croatia, Ireland, Cyprus, Hungary, Thailand, Turkey and Albania, . If USA does not have any battles, we will direct you to fight for them, or against ASTERIA.

In the next few weeks and months, you will see additional fighting. NEVER STOP. We will be free.

FWIW - Congratulations to everyone fighting - both sides. It has been a lot of fun this year already, and while we are occupied, this is much better than just farming.


Trade Embargoes




Hopefully, these end next week and everyone can work again. We are hoping that Serbia / Romania / Iran / China and MKD politicians come to their senses and understand that they are also hurting themselves financially by doing this. They are also killing off the ecommunity. Maybe that's what they want. All I know is that we will continue fighting until our cores are returned, or they come to the table so that we can negotiate a NAP similar to what Argentina and Chile had in 2018. I will never leave the eUSA. And I will fight until the lights are turned off.


Congress



As you can see, we did not have a full congress for January. We only had 20 members which is 1/2 of what we normally get. (40). December was a full 40, and I expect February will be a full 40. One of the accomplishments in my 3 terms was to bring back Congress to full strength after not having a full Congress in over 9 months. A big thank you to Chile and Greece for allowing this to happen. Currently we hold 6 regions (3 in Greece) to allow for full Congress, and I hope the Country President's after me continues the trend of getting help from our friends to hold regions for us.

That means 40 players can have a shot of getting 5 gold every month as well as participating in the meta game which is USA politics and have buttons to vote and to discuss topics. Make sure to sign up with your Top 5 party to have a shot of getting chosen by your Party President to represent your party.

Minister of Entertainment Banned





Well, I did not see this coming. My Minister of Entertainment and my opponent for CP was permanently banned from this game a couple days ago. We were about to launch a National Trivia Night and eNPR this term, and we were very close to having this come to fruition but then this happened. Sadly, this has put a damper into my plans and will not be able to deliver on this, this term.

I do hope that someone else, next term, will want to volunteer for this position so that we do have fun and entertainment outside of the military and political module and start enjoying our eUSA community. The eIrish has been a fun community to engage with and I think there are some opportunities here to have some fun. Maybe bring in Clopo into the mix where we could have him host our Game Nights.

Real Life / Next Term / National Program Ending


So, my real life has taking a busy turn. I will be having a baby boy in the next few months, I am currently building a house in Kansas (Basically a real Q7 house that Plato has not added to this game yet) and I was promoted to Sr Product Manager for a rapid growth software company. These things will have to take priority for me, and I will not be seeking re election as Country President for February. I will also take a break from the executive, as I have been on in some capacity over the last 10 months and I need a sanity check. I will continue my duties in Easy Company MU (2nd Commander, providing tanks and salary) and will continue to fight against the occupation and for our allies, but I cannot provide the time or effort that you deserve as eCitizens. The National Pack Program will also be ending as I need to take a break from spending too much money on this game.

I am very proud of what my cabinet accomplished. I have been honored to serve you for the past 3 months. Our communication has been much better, our allies have noticed, our enemies have noticed and overall, the eCommunity remains strong.

This will probably be my last article as your CP. There are 2 more weeks before the next election. PLEASE CHOOSE WISELY. Hopefully whoever is next will continue what I have left behind.
