Being serious for a moment, when you look back at the last dozen or so votes then for the majority of them typically less than 30 congress members have bothered to vote. If party leaders have done their only job and put the active people at the top of the list and the people making up the numbers at the bottom then you shouldn't actually see any difference. Rarely do more than a dozen people bother to speak in congress threads. The only people who will be mourning the loss of 10 seats are those who are happy to take the gold and do nothing.

Considering how unimportant our regions are symbolically as per the fact we are happy to rent them out as part of training wars then the loss of seats as a result of too many lost regions doesn't seem to be as big a deal as it might have been in the past. If we had less training wars running then this wouldn't have happened as we'd have the extra regions needed to secure a full 40 seats. Maybe it is the fault of congress to agree TWs where one failure could lead to this?

And a tad overstated to blame Ulsters Finest for all this anyway. If you had been playing attention without the blinkers on then you'd maybe appreciate that when Plato is doing give aways or competitions than people who'd normally behave have all the extra energy and stuff in order to do more BH stealing and so forth. This leads to battles that are agreed to go in a certain direction having outsiders interferring and disrupting and causing the battles to go in the wrong way.

Same thing happened under my Dicktraktorship when we had the TWs with Croatia and Lith. We only kept them on track with good communication with the partners (Croatia were good as they are exceptionally organised) and some solid tanking from our big guns/leaders (90% me).

Jamesw did the same, spite ofc couldn't and Huey has tried but suffers to a lesser degree from being unable to cause much personal damage.

As for the amount of TW's UK has and its particular partners........the overiding point is that the decision the UK made wheter it was a referndum or mongress vote (I wasn't here for it) to choose Asterian allegiance means that you have to keep the crossing points with Ireland occupied by Asterian nations. Geographically this means the obvious loss of Scotland and pretty much the entire Western seaboard.

The argument over whether having the regions occupied matters or not aside (I'm sure it matters to newer players if they lose their WAM, older players probably don't rely on that as much)…
There are two reasons for our TW battles being derailed recently - one is Colin paying people to steal Macedonian BHs (specifically in battles they are supposed to lose, to intentionally screw up their TWs), and the other is Ulsters Finest tanking for the wrong side. If you look at the stats, the battle for Y&H in particular was almost entirely won for Macedonia by him:

As I've said before, he may have had reasons why he thought having Y&H owned by Macedonia was preferable, but as someone who does watch these battles and puts down significant damage to fix the walls when they're going the wrong way, I think maybe you need to remove your own blinkers if you think he doesn't have any affect.

IMO production regions owned by Romania when we're not at war with them is a good thing (productivity boosts).
Production regions owned by our training partners who we have a war with is a bad thing (WAM losses).
Beyond that I don't think it matters that much who owns which region if we're getting refunded the lost income...

All there is, is farming - Where can you get the gold and currency from on any given day.

Yorkshire may be lost for a day or two to nation X this month then nation Y next month and on and on. The UK is simply not worth any nation taking a longterm interest in occupation a la Amerika especially when its much easier to PTO/MTO and stripmine the country that way.
